Shane....
We do speedboarding, slalom, sliding, and general road cruising.
It isn't all hardcore.

It was very warm through the summer, so we padded up as needed, and we play that by ear.
It isn't Colorado, but we have a good thing going, I think.8)

im giong to need to make myself some new gloves before i go back out.

so whens the nest session? im down for whenever just need good times notice so i dont have anything planned beforehand.

Most of the time its Saturday or Sunday.
PM for specifics.

This weekend.....there is the big Surf / Skate Expo in Orlando.
The Oviedo / Orlando Sk8parks should be more active.
Not sure yet about road sessions.

Slide gloves are great if you have them, but wrist guards also work until you are ready to slide or speedboard.8)

I live in Polk County, right on the ridge. There are some decent hills around here as well. Clermont is not that long of a haul for me. How often do you guys have sessions in the Central Florida area?

Most every weekend.
And some during the workweek.
The sites change for variety.
This week, the weather will be limiting, but should improve by the weekend.

They're calling for about 55-60 degrees, I believe.
Perfect for protective clothing, warm sliding gloves.....and speed runs.

oh and yesterday, dug up some old cutting board and gloves gonna through them together tonight. and gutted the pads from my leathers. next new face shield mines too scratched up.

voodoo is setup again, 180s dh back plate, reds, speedvents, rIIb bushings

and chicago up and going too. 180s gummies and reds. bitch and khiro bushings.

I put the 81mm Bomb Hills wheelz on the Subsonic speedboard, and she's itchin' to cruise.
Hoping to hit Grassy Lake, among other places, with it.
If Keith doesn't catch this and post, I'll give him a call.

Hey guys Im new in to Tampa Florida and im looking for people to longboard with. I mostly Longboard in car garages, Hill, or just cruise around. I used to live in miami and used to longboard in car garages with some people from BC sports. Now im here looking for new people to board with. I also Surf and Skate if anyone else does that.

I did my first garage session in years, a few weeks ago in Tampa, and it was a blast.

Looks like Sunday might be a go.
We need to dress a little warm.

I also have bank slalom cones now, in case we get the chance to hit a big flow park, and set up a
BLR style, park slalom "Death Race".
