We don't need no stinking Winter!

What: The Hill-Chill & Grill - Outlaw Slalom - Single lane TS/HS
Where: Hillsborough, NC - on a road
When: Sunday, February 10th [9AM practice / 10AM race start]
Cost: free as in freedom

Things to know:
-Bring a helmet or borrow one
-Bring a beginner or interested skater if you can
-This is a true outlaw race, with no permission. In the event that we
are asked to leave, there is an optional road available 2 miles away.
-We will have 2 grills [1 meat, 1 veggie], along with drinks
-Email mr.surlyATcriddlekultDOTcom to be added to the map list
-Map and directions will be emailed out on Wednesday, February 6th
and not before
-Possible ramp start. Either way, there will be a push start box set up
at 16-20 feet.

i would be down if i could find somebody to carpool with, 8 hours by myself and 200 bucks in gas is a bit steep, sniff, you interested in a road trip?

Nashville is a bit out of my way. The whole sunday thing kind of blows it for me. I have to be at work bright and early on monday morning. I was pushing it coming back from Dixie and I left right after final runs on B class. The logistics are just all wrong for me this time. Oh well.

New:

- There will not be a ramp start, only a push. We'll decide whether to
limit the start the day of. We may only limit the faster racers ... hehe.

- Bring a longboard. We'd like to race 29 inch wheelbases and up.
We'll set a few wide offsets on the hill at the end of the day and go
for it.

- There is a trail [leashed dogs] and preserved land right next to the
race road. For those interested, or for family that gets bored.
