Re: Atlanta Longboarder Registry
Atlanta area longboard session tomorrow - Saturday (2/14) night. Ditch the expensive date and come celebrate valentines with your true love - your skateboard. Meet at Woodys Halfpipe at about 8pm. Right now the plan is to hit the Pickneyville trails, Avalon Ridge, and the to another area for some garage fun. Call 770-416-1475 and talk to Matt or Kelly for more info. Be there because we love you no sh#t!

Re: Atlanta Longboarder Registry
Yo, I'm on this badboy for the first time. I'm way out in Covington and I need to find a new skate. I've only been longboarding a couple a years but I'm down for what ever. Where are the parking decks and ditches?

Re: Atlanta Longboarder Registry
Name: Aldrian
Age: 29
Location: Atlanta
Decks: Homemade pintail
Disciplines: Cruising and Carving
Spots: Piedmont Park, around my neighborhood. Planning to try silver comet trail and Chattahoochee trail.
Does anyone know spots around smyrna-vinings?
-
Re: Atlanta Longboarder Registry
Try out the Silver Comet Trail for cruising and distance pushes. That isn't too far from you. (Yes i saw you mentioned it). Big creek trail is a little further away. In Alpharetta. The REI deck is always fun. Only after 9:30p though, that's the rule. Tyleroo could tell you a few spots, he lives in Buckhead/Vinings area over by 75. Shoot him a PM, he might answer.

Re: Atlanta Longboarder Registry
Whats up. I just moved here from Colorado and I am looking for places to shred. Used to ride big mountain DH, just got a new Sector 9 and looking to get back into whatever kind I can. Currently riding hills in VaHi, and the PATH. Looking for better hills.

Newbie checking in. Credit to Bigg Oskee for recruiting in the Marietta/Powder Springs/Austell area. I'll post back when I get my board. I'm ordering a Subsonic Barrage 40.
Never felt right on those mainstream shortboards. It wasn't about the ride or about just having fun on your board, it all seemed like a pissing contest and there's no community, especially not one like there is here at Silverfish.

Re: Atlanta Longboarder Registry
Sweet. Whats up guys, Im from philly, but im moving to midtown atlanta for GT Grad school.

By the time I graduate, I plan on shredding that #### with my dervish and bustin sick pendy speed checks the whole way down.
2008 legendary loaded dervish - randall II 180mm, swiss bones, abec11 83mm flywheels 81a

Re: Atlanta Longboarder Registry
Coercive, it looks like that Subsonic board is gonna be my next deck since I bought a Landy Drop Wedge from Woody's.
Pyrotak, freshmen hill is pretty insane. And there were some guys talking about bombing Kennesaw Mt.
You are not the light of my life.
Making you happy isn't my greatest dream.
Your smile is not all I live for;
I've got my own stuff going on.
But you're strange and fascinating
and I've never met anyone like you.
I want to give you everything.
Just to see what you would do with it.

yeah i thought about getting a drop wedge but ended up with an Evo and more recently a Demonseed.
a couple of people are going to hit up the REI deck thursday night at 9:30. should be a fun time if you can make it.

Re: Atlanta Longboarder Registry
I really wanted an Evo but one of my friends steered me away from it saying it wouldn't be very good for parking decks and that it wouldn't steer very well.
Which REI? I don't think the one by Town Centre has a parking deck.

yeah it's pretty rough getting that thing to turn in a parking garage. it's the REI near perimeter mall. the deck isn't actually for REI.
