Dude whats up guys? I am Josh and live on the Marietta Square. Just found this site the other day and have been hooked! I bought my first longboard last summer. (Sector 9 Bomber) I am getting a Loaded Dervish. Cant wait! Any of you guys ever meet up? Hit me up! JoshPeeples79@yahoo.com

Damn i was looking at the maps and all the cool runs are like 45 minutes from MIDTOWN....doah!

I was looking for people to start boarding with since now I need a new longboarding crew.

I like to go freeriding...down long runs...top speeds around 35-40 mph? With decent runoff so that I can pop a 20-30mph toeside slide-to-stop. I can push my dervish to around 45....before I might consider getting a dedicated downhill deck (think evo or dseed).

Either way Im willing to drive out further if we can get a decent number of riders to one of the longer more awesome runs.

Im also getting into tech sliding, since I got my slide As from my friend and put them on my short deck...thinking about getting an earthwing slide deck since its longer and wider tho.

come on out to REI tomorrow night. I get to ride my new FSM a little more and the first time on concrete.

PYROTAK- Hit me up when you get in town. I'm just getting into the speed/DH/Freeride thing so I'm stoked to scout some spots and I'm 5 minutes from Kennesaw Mt. I'm getting prepped to give it a go within the next few of weeks.

make sure you give me a heads up before hitting the mountain, i'm definitely up for that. there's also a guy down in conyers that'll be going to kennesaw uni. soon and i'm sure he'll be lookin' to go if he's not busy.

So uhhhh... Me and Big Oskee are chilling outside the REI in Sandy Springs and we can see at least three garages. Where are we going? The Arby's garage is nice, though.

Stand in front of the REI, looking at the front door. Turn to your left and cross the street. The deck is behind the pines, next to the black building. Hope that helps...

i went up to kennesaw mt. today to look at the road, and it is very nice. the turns are do-able and the road quality is fresh. i definitely have to do it soon. especially on my freebord!

Thanks Camel, never woulda found it without you. Had a great time riding once we did, though. Don't think I ever got the other guy's name or username.

REI was awesome but please everyone take note of the fact that i always forget my slide gloves so when ever i say im going to meet up please remind me to bring them cause i can be super forgetful

Dude had a rad session on the Marietta Square this afternoon! Just me and some tunes. If you guys are into dancing there is this smooth flat parking lot with no traffic. The city just paved like 3 new parking lots with a preety good slope. So glad its warm and can ride! Anybody live near the square or Kennesaw?

Bigg Oskee and I do and I think Coercive does and there are some people that'll be moving to KSU in the fall and I'm sure there's gotta be at least one longboarder already there.

i live in marietta, but for only a few more days till i move back to athens. i was thinking about skating the square deck tonight, or maybe the REI deck since i haven't been there in a while. anybody want to join?

I'm going to the Sandy Springs deck tonight if anyone wants to ride. I'll pick anyone up if they need a ride if they're not way out of the way. I'll probably be there by 10.
