Haven't been on this thread in a while but I see there is a google group now and a crew running Kennesaw?! Got to get some of that. What is the group and how can I ride with some peoples?

Here's the Google Group (http://groups.google.com/group/longboard-atlanta). Pretty much every session in Atlanta is organized through LBA now.

Al G pretty much runs Kennesaw.

Hey guys I've been thinking about hosting some sort of outlaw event up here in conyers.
I've got a good hill in mind and I think a few people are heading my way to take a look at it this weekend. I'll keep you posted.

The question is what would you like to see as a 1/2/3 place prizes? I was thinking either sets of wheels or gift certificates of varying amounts to woodys halfpipe.
I'll be using your suggestions to base a possible entry fee or maybe just let the race be free and arrange some other form of prize

Chadd, I think I'm gonna have to pick up one of your racks in the near-ish future. They look great. Kinda wish I could get/make one for my car since that's where they spend a lot of time, too.

The benefit of being in ATL is that you can come up on the weekend, and we will design something for your car. No biggie. Just let me know. We can skate my n'hood as well.

I guess worst case scenario we go punk-kid mode and park off-site and be ready to escape to witch mountain at any time. Also, we should ride again soon.

Yeah, we just have to calm down on the REI sessions. We need to do some daytime park sessions or mountain run day trips.

Decks: freebord (i think its the 75 or 77 revolt, with slashers and bones reds all around.) and my brothers old sector 9 when i don't feel like riding hills
Disciplines: Carving, Cruising, Hard Carving, gnarly sidewalks, and big mountains- i'm pretty much a noobcake on the longboard but starting to get a my board control.
Home base: blacksburg, va (right at VA tech)
