Hey everybody, started skating again a few months ago when I picked up my minicarve. Its good to be skating again after high school. I mainly skate local nieghborhoods, not many places to skate down this side of town where I'm located.

I just transfered to Georgia State for the fall, anybody skate downtown, GSU area? Looking for some good spots to hit up and cruise around during the semester and such around Atlanta.

Only legal downtown cruise spot is the outer perimeter sidewalk of Centennial Park. It is a great spot though. A couple of good hills and really wide sidewalks.

take MARTA from the Five Points Station Eastbound to Inman Park and you will find some good riding. I'll meet you down there sometime during the week after 5 for some guided riding.

There is also a corkscrew parking deck pretty much on campus but it's ride at your own risk.

The slide sesh looks to be kicking off at 1pm on Sunday at Noonday Church Rd.

If you don't already have an account with Google you'll need to create one and then apply for membership in the group. Chadd will probably let you in within 12 hours or so of when you applied.

you can bring a DH board if you'd like. there's nothing to say we can't hit some of the runs nearby. no skate park that i'm aware of, though.

Whats going on everyone, My name is Jeremy, I live in the Tucker Area, me and a couple friends have a few good areas to skate in. Occasionally we ride down towards piedmont and grady. Anyone live close by the Tucker area??? Or anyone have big groups looking for about 4 or 5 more riders. We bomb and carve and cruise, and trick but we are just looking for more poeple....!!
