Visiting Tampa

So next week is my spring break and some of it I'll be just south of Tampa with my dad. Anyone around there to ride between monday and thursday of next week eh? Maybe we could even lure my dad out :P

You MUST make an effort to go to the Bro Bowl in downtown Tampa. It won't be around for long and is an iconic symbol of skateboarding's roots in that area in particular.

The SPoT has a decent skateshop and wood bowl.

There are other places, but they are definently "locals only" and no way would I bust them out publically. And stay away from any kook on here who might. You don't want to say you know them

If you go to concretedisciples.com, you can find a further list of skateparks in the area of Tampa but most are generally at least an hour away in any direction. But while you're in Tampa, you have no excuse for not going to the Bro Bowl. It's free. No waivers, no pad nannies. Totally skate at your own risk. Do it!!

i might go skate a trail with a couple fun runs out in clearwater tomorrow afternoon. ill post sometime tomorrow when i decide. the brobowl is fun i mostly just surf the banked walls
