Default South Louisiana

Whats up fellow longboarders? I am from Lake Charles, La and I want to know about any spots near...Anyone else near LC longboard? My setup is a Bustin Complex with 3D Avalons and Paris 180 MM. I just got rid of my Bomber, but I am stilll up to attempt a garage or two. What I really want are a few gnarly banks or a nice ditch. Any advice will be appreciated since I have only been longboarding for a few months now!

I don't know lake charles, I'm up in shreveport. My brother and I longboard nearly everyday, and I NEVER see other longboarders. I know where all the garages are here and plenty of nice session hills...always looking for more. Good luck finding someone in lake charles. I just thought I'd shoutatcha so you could here from another LA boarder instead of just listening to the crickets.

Thanks a lot! I actually learned to skateboard back in the day in Shreveport. Hell I was born there! We have a few garages here, mainly the Capital One building. There is also the Juvenile Court Garage, but its rather small...Its a good beginner garage though. Also the mother of all is the old Harrah's Casino garage, complete with Trash Can Snake run and a slalom course, but its private property and you can get into some serious trouble in there! I may have to come up to Shreveport soon and hit a new Garage or two. My new board isn't a great bomber, but it works well enough.
