From Greensboro, NC to Winston-Salem, NC longboarding

Hello my name is Erle Craven I am 15 and I am a very stoked skater. I ride a dervish and a LBL old school dancer. I have a couple friends who longboard but not all of them will skate with me on any given day. I personally know and ride with 5 people in the area with loaded boards. Two dervishes, two vanguards and a loaded pintail.

Two weeks ago I went up to Fairfax, Va on saturday night to go skate from 9pm to 2am with Adam Stokowski, East Coast Board Co. staff, and other longboarders. They have an organized skate night every friday night and saturday night and that stoked and inspired me to start a weekly skate night where we all meet at a skate shop parking lot and go to various parking decks and hills.

BTW I live in winston-salem and I am free to any times or places to meet. I really hope I can get people together to skate.

If you're into DH there are several riders in the area that go up to the mountains periodically. I'll PM you if you're interested. We also go to Hobby Park to bomb the soapbox derby hill every now and then....

I am in Raleigh, we have a HUGE group here, and some hills that are worth the drive .... are group is sponsered by Coast Longboarding so we have hookups IF you need them. so i recomend PM'ing me about some gnar sessions here.. i dont know if your into dh, or running cones.. or what but whatever you like to do we have here.

Hey Jake, where are these hills that you speak of? It's 2 hours there or two hours to the mountains for me so they would really have to be worth it. And is your crew willing to go to the mountains?

yeah we would like to come up, but i dont have leathers.

the hills we have here are 50 easily.. you just have to get your push start perfect. and they're good hills to learn on, thats why i recomended coming here. we also have the most killer slalom hills here.. one hill we have spray painted cone markers on beacuse we skate it so much.

Raleigh aint worth the drive if you live that close to the moutains, unless you like the company. Why do you think metalhead and I are always trying to get to the mountains? Just lately we've had a hard time finding a follow car driver, so no dice. Next weekend we shall be going out. We usually stay in Boone. The only problem is we only have space for 1 more rider(compact car) if anyone wants to meet us there, and that'll be a squeez.
