AZpusher 2!

Hey guess what time of year it is people? That right time to bring our big ol' AZ skate community together for another Shindig. Its time for another pusher, same idea as the last one except better. I will be working on making this a little bigger of an event this time , however we HAVE to stay outlaw, i already checked. So with that being said how does everyone feel about the course last year and the general vibe? Lets start a dicussion so this can be handled properly and orderly. Leave gettin sponsors aside for now, i can take care of that fairly well. But lets start a lil back and forth action and so i can get a feel for what you great people of the Valley of the Sun want out of this event.

I'm moving out of AZ June 1st, so I probably wont be able to attend. I hope that you end up having a hell of a good turn out and a good time though!!!!

You will definitely be here and settled before the event . late june/july will be the time

No no, I'm moving OUT of AZ. I'm going up to Seattle where I was born and raised. Still, sad to miss the event.

i wasn't there last time but i bet it was awesome. Maybe you could make the course a little longer? What about prizes and that good stuff?

the coursse is over 7 miles long. Its not as bad as it would seem , but still challenging. We could extend it , but i think that distance will give adequate energy after for some free skating. And like i said i got prizes covered.

I'm in. So last year it was from Chaparral Park to Tempe town Lake? Sounds like a good spot. Is this competitive at all or just a big group ride? Like staggered timed starts or just a big ass cluster start? Are there many streets to cross?

I am in for sure, it will give me a good chance to use my drop carve for once. Is the route on the longboard world map? If not could we throw it up please.

Cole, what time of day are you planning on having this ride, its going to be so hot during June/July but ending at Tempe Town Lake will be so sick!!

Its a big cluster start. It makes things interesting. We pass through 2 lights at the beginning little bit. The race will ,hopefully, start at 10 so its still relatively cool. There is parking at chaparral park and we will need to set up some car at tempe town lake as well for return transportation. The course is 7. something miles. It takes roughly an hour give or take fifteen minutes for your skill level and dedication. Everyone who comes will get a raffle ticket liek the sickamore event to make it an oppurtunity to win something for every one. The entire weekend would be a fun filled one of riding, so if som people do come down we will definitely make sure we show you a good time. Lots of goood riding in Az. I can possibly try to make it the same weekend as a silent sunday so any outta towners can hit that majestic hill haha. After the race we have a big BBQ at the finishline under the remaddas and bridge.The garage sesh could be a possibiltity after the race.
