Maybe it could be like a scavenger hunt, with the checkpoints and all. But instead of people handing out chips, we could have to take a picture of something near the checkpoint, and if the picture the person took was nothing near that checkpoint, they can't win! Still, did Barstow to Eubank the other day, so it should be all flat or downhill...
It could start and Eubank and go all the way to a mall or something...
Still, if anyone has a good idea for start and end points, checkpoints, etc. just e-mail me at wood.bryan25@yahoo.com
Updated look down, and yes I know my grammar sucks. Its because I have been up for three days because i'm in carlsbad and I cant go to bed because my sister kicks me in the face, and it sucks. Mostly my grammar is a little better sorry.
Indian school to Pennsylvania to Claremont to Montlcaire to Shepard to Morningside to Comanche to Griegos to Rio Grande to Flying Star?
Kinda made that up just now. Someone might want to drive it to check for skate-ability. Should be skate-able though.
Also--I'll judge, but I'm not down for the whole race...

I would have to try that ditch out first... Started at christmas '08 and still learning so I have not rode many ditches. Anyone want to help me ride around and plot out a course? Also, if anyone has a board that is similar to the LBL Pusher, how well does it do in ditches? Still, just thanks for all the help so far! So just leave me a message here on 'fish if you want to help organize, make course, etc.
I've got an idea for a course. Bicycling, bicycle, bicycle parts, bicycle trips, bicycle tours, cycling, cyclists
Almost 3 miles.
It's a bike path, so no cars, only two roads to cross. The only scary part is where is goes under the freeway, it gets fast (if you go north) and if you fall you get to tumble down the huge ditch. And at UNM we can use the astronomy parking lot (big hill).
It can be ridden wither way too.
I like the course that thokk2 pointed out... I will have to try that out sometime! If someone wants to help me go check it out just e-mail me. I am thinking that having a cross town race is just a little much for some people, and a 3-5 mile race would be perfect!!!
My e-mail if you want to help with the organization and check out a course is: wood.bryan25@yahoo.com
(sorry for any errors, I types this out on a iPod!!)
I know it is not cross town, but does anyone want to help me check it out? We could do it this (the checking out) this weekend (i am only free sunday the 7th) please e-mail me at wood.bryan25@gmail.com if you want to help!!! :mrgr een:

+It will be open to all riders, no fee or anything, money if you want to eat at the end there is a schlotzsky's deli, wendys and other places near the northern end.
+We will start in the morning when it is cool and end at noon-ish, we will have heats, finals, depending on how many people show up.
+We will all get there on our own, it is on a path so the police won't care if we are there or not.
+Potential date for the event is father's day (the 21st) just cause i'm busy till then on the weekends.
If anyone has anything else to suggest let me know or just tell me if that seems like a good date. We will have registration at the beggining and such stuff like that.
