rumors of a battle are spreading....warriors from as far away as Boulder and Denver, as well as Farmington, Albuquerque and hopefully Tuscon are traveling to draft to the death!!!

this is turning into the battle of the southwest!

if you are driving to the race, meet at this address around 5:30

825 Early st., Santa Fe, NM 87505

    google maps link:

825 early st. , santa fe, NM 87505 - Google Maps

if you are taking the train from ABQ, get off at the last stop, the Santa Fe Depot, take the bike path downhill(slightly) past REI, through the park...when the path stops you will see LA CHOZA imediatly to your right....to your left across Cerrilos rd is Early st., go down early street for a few hundred feet, turn left into early st. plaza and look for Timeship Racing, we are right behind the Climbing Gym. if it takes you more than 5 minutes, you are either lost or really really slow.

get here earlier for skate swap and a gnar session beforehand. stay the night if you want to, morning session on sunday to!

if you are racing and have'nt emailed me yet, please do so soon...i'm making the brackets up and its alot easier if i know how many people will be racing.
to go for a skate is to go for a drift, to explore the streets looking for hidden places, opportunities for creative misappropriation; it is to recombine the artifacts of production and reinterpret the city for oneself-ocean howell

21 racers so far...i'm really hoping for 24..then my 24-person bracket will work perfectly.

Or you could do heats of 7. That would be interesting. I may have another rider, but I think her wants to check out the hill before he says yes.

Oh, I'll be there. Mark my words, I will be there.
The only descision left to make is how agressive/competative I will ride.

You know, will I get 1st or 2nd?!!!

If you let me take second I'll throw you into first.

Haha, for sure. I would throw you to first, but I have a new tuck figured out, that's pretty damn hard to draft, if i do say so myself.

Are you gonna take any video? Or just the warm up/pre-skate thingy?

I'll carry the camera on the free-ride/warmup but I'll have Tiana film during the race.

As a a friend to the deity crew and a good friend to some of the random people that are tagging along with them, I am ultra jealous that I dont get to come to this!!

Although the deity crew and team pagan are hitting my outlaw tomorrow in northern RADo
and its going to be awesome.

Good luck to you guys, if I know the skate crew from up here as well as I think I do, then they will add +10 to all fun had for the day! Have an awesome time and skate HARD!

Lets seem some NM people up at a deity or NOCO outlaw soon!!

    Pshh... I'm buying new bearings.

Weapons of war, eh? I've got my setup dialed in (I hope) for this course. 35* Randall baseplates with paris hangers and black JimZ bushings all around. It sucked to commute to work today, the thing doesn't turn...
