Re: North West Phoenix area
Dope, thats right around the corner from the pad. There are a few 1/2- 1 mile runs in the tramonto area(27th ave and carefree). North side of the street has most of the runs and there is an apartment complex that my friend lives in called las colinas that has a pretty nice top to bottom run. I know you are thinking apartment complex? It has a nice new pavement with a good incline and a curving exit out with enough room to slow down. The back side of tramonto has a run that is accesible by code or through the desert by way of my pad and a quad to the back side of tramonto. It has a cool up hill and downhill strech that allows for some ok tow-rope-skating. Its fun when it works out but the quads are not reall running right now but its another sggestion. Any time you want to skate just let me know and i am sure we could work out a time to hit up some hills.

so im stoaked to see someone replied too lol... this place your talking about... the apartment complex... was it just being built like a year ago or so and its like 3 min from the exit of 27th ave and carefree?
Oh and btw my name is Keith, nice to meet you!
hey I replied to you a long time ago....we have a small team in the 4-8-0 area code we call ourselves team 4 8 0 haha we're not a pro team or anything but we just enjoy riding as much as we can....everyone on the team has gone 45+ and most of us 50+....just today we hit some technical stuff on camelback mountain but we also have our "home" hills the ones that you hit all the time you know? just like 30-40mph runs that you can do whatever on. Lately been doing a lot of Mcdowell Mountain ranch....neighborhood runs that are like 35 but have some cool turns and speed bumps to launch off....also a SICK kart path there that is lit up at night called the beard of zues......so whenever you get back just post on the fish and get in on our sesh's
oh and we all live scattered over the valley but mainly in the scottsdale area.....I'm at like 56th and bell....cole is up on pinnacle peak and 90th...jordan is pretty close to us at shea and scottsdale....josh is at scottsdale and cheney....austin lives right next to me....and then I think we're adding to the team pretty soon with justin who lives in chandler

Re: North West Phoenix area
hey I replied to you a long time ago....
I thought i might have joined this site a few years ago but there was hardly anyone on here back in the day but now there are a shi T ton of riders on here. To tell you the truth there is not a second that goes by that i am not bored as F**k in the hole called az so i am ALWAYS interested when anything having to deal with skating and boarding is going on in my backyard. Maybe i would not be so bored. If i have to hit 50mph+ to be in the crew i just cant do that anymore. I have bombed the backside of mt. soledad in dago on a freebord and hit 58, i also had the O.G. freebord wheels melt when i was skating Stagecoach pass up in the boulders and had to bail at 45, but now adays i save the speed and potential impalement for the snow and POW days! Sorry, but i just dont heal like i used to, but if you can accept some b.s. story from an old dude i would love to join your clan, i know 5-8 other potential clan memebers that have already been made aware of what this site tells us and how we can all interact within our sport, but i am the only one that appartly like to plan S**t so i am the secretary. HAHAHAHA. If you want to, send a friend request, cause i have not figured that out yet. and we can hit some hills all this week since the temps will be so low this week

Re: North West Phoenix area
Ah, well our group is pretty small and lookin' to keep it to small smaller numbers....but we're not a real official team or anything...just more like guys who live near eachother and feed off eachother when riding and push limits and progress.....we like to represent the little group at small az races but that's about it race-wise so far....sorry to ruin the clan idea =( hah but we are ALWAYS down to ride.....we ride almost every day and are always looking for a session
Edit: oh there's a group called arizona bomb squad here in az....few older guys in there...mitch who's like 40 rips so hard...
We have a super wide age range in az actually

Re: North West Phoenix area
I live way out west by the Cards Stadium, but work on Bell and i17. I would be down for some "Happy Hour" rides after work some time. I haven't done any real downhill stuff yet, but am really to ease into some.
