good video, if you dont mind me offering some advice, in your tuck, for the guys in leathers, try moving your leg maybe an inch forward, i can see your getting really tired from the run and having problems keeping your tuck, if you move it forward an inch or two, and move your knee behind your leg, you are more aerodynamic, its easier to draft that way, and you can rest you knee slightly on your other leg.

you can get way more out of your tuck this way, its just a side note, try to keep your knee behind your front tuck leg.

Dog I have been thinking the same thing, I need to explore more garages or I'm going to go crazy. Worst thing is I just got a job so I can't just leave for a couple of days

Yesterday our car broke down on 610 so we went garage exploring till our ride came around. twas fun. But my friends and I have also been itching to go north to the hill country and actually BOMB some ####### HILLS. I mean seriously, wtf is with the lack of hills in houston........ we gotta ride the HOV lane and overpasses just to get our rocks off. =/

you ride on highways!!?! wow! ur my hero. ive thought about doing that but id be afraid of being hassled by cops or getting hit. but moses...i feel ur pain. i got a job too and they always call me to come in early when im an hour away longboarding. it ruins everything. and they make me tell them two weeks in advance if i want time off. thats why im trying make my longboard trip a big thing and have all these hills planned out

Down here in Temple, Tx there is like NO HILLS that we can actually ride on without getting out of the way for cars. There's 3 small hills near me and that's all And there's no garages that are actually worth it.....living in a small town sucks....:O

Okay guys, I don't know how you can complain about garages in Houston,
there are so many, and in all parts of the town.

If you're not finding something to ride, you're not looking.

    As for hills?
    Listen to Aria (Hanael).

If you're feeling adventurous, Huntsville has hills in the 30s. No one really wants to go back there since my accident however.
Austin is only 3hrs away. Grab some friends and go join ALC for a weekend.

    conroe is closer.
    hills there too.

was reading the topo map the other day...there are slight mounds (lol) around tomball/magnolia/spring area...but i'm not sure if it's skateable or not.

I've heard good things about the Conroe area. I'd just be worried about the concrete quality

taking a trip to austin sounds like a good idea. as for conroe... i had no idea there were hills out there. in tomball we've been hitting 30 on our "mound" but thats the steepest hill we've ever found anywhere. it just doesnt seem like its really worth driving out there every week to go longboard. i really need some better spots for dh.

Yeah your not going to find anything past 35ish till you make it to the Llano Estacado's(The large plateau of stone that Austin sits below) run off aka Hill Country. The Llano starts about 50 miles past Austin and gets flat once you get on top of it. but the foothills make for great times

Huntsville was a good temporary escape, however it has been decided that the roads there are a tad too busy and not worth the drive for moderate speed and risk of injury.
