Talking South Mountain Silent Sundays of 2009

I got this off the south mountain park and rec website. If anyone does not know about this now you do. If anyone wants to hit this place up or knows about the runs and if the hill is even good at all please post that as well. here it is:

Silent Sunday will return each month in 2009!! On Silent Sundays, bicyclists, tots in strollers, in-line skaters and wheelchair users get to call the Park's roadways their own. Starting at 5 a.m. the park's roadways past the Central Avenue gate* will be reserved for non-motorized use. Remaining 2009 Silent Sunday dates: February 22, March 22, April 26, May 24, June 21, July 26, August 23, September 27, October 25, November 22, December 20.
*All other park entrances and parking areas remain open to vehicles.

Since you guys know about, could you hook me up with some info and what run/s are there and which ones are better than others. Do any of you plan on going? If so what time and is there only one place to park? That is all for now, i just wanted to start placing the stimulus in the ol brain of my fellow az riders.

there's really only one road... i have heard that different sections are steeper and crazier than others though.

The very top has two runs, one around 35 that's super tech at the beginning and then just a nice cruise for a bit. The other top run is a huge straightaway that gets you to around 40-45. The main run (bottom 2 miles or so) is about 35-40mph with sweeper turns and lotsa cliffs. Towards the end there's a huge right hand that's a ton of fun and then a straightaway to the main entrance. Off to the sides there are two or three runs that top out at like 30 and have really gradual turns. Going during the summer sucks because you have to hike up carrying all your #### (including leathers if you bring them) and it's super hot. But yeah, you park about a half mile down from where the main entrance is, on the left right where the road is blocked off.
