i went to the katy trail extension over by woodrow today around 2 o'clock and skated for a couple hours back and forth from woodrow to just past munger. but the wind was a drag.

OK, so it only took me like 4 months to find this thread. We had a great Dallas Bar Hop...I mean BoARd hop over labor day weekend. One casualty as Matt went down with a knee injury...naturally it was foot breaking at relatively slow speed and not something more dramatic like John up in Tally or Tanner down in Houston...but our well wishes to Matt on a full and quick recovery so we can get the next Slide Sesh cooking. Texas Longboards finally added the Original line of boards, we've been carrying the trucks for a while so it was natural. We are super impressed with the quality of these boards and set up with the Original trucks these things take free riding to the top shelf.

We've made tons of changes to our website, and will continue to make changes in the coming months, so stay tuned.

Anyone have any news on the party out Aledo way? I got an invite and was not sure if I should make the trip...

Where does the extension pick up and what is it like? I've not ventured south of 75, unless I head to the White Rock Trails...is the extension worthwhile on a longboard, or is it better to just go to White Rock?

Figure I'll introduce myself. Denton longboarder. Fairly new to it all. My name's Tommy Lee. I'm 18. I regret not skating more when I was a wee little child.

Any other Denton boarders around? Also, any nice areas to skate that you know of around my area? I'm currently attending UNT and I'll be here for quite a while. Time to brush up.

Welcome to the Fish. Gorillabiscuits and The Chick are both in Denton. Chris (Gorillabiscuits) organizes sessions there; I'll bet he'll set something up for this weekend. Some of us here in Tarrant are going to hit some hills, probabably in Arlington, around 6:00 tonight then meet in downtown FW at 10:30 for some garages.

it starts at woodrow on glasgow and goes i don't know how far past munger. it's not that great but there was a break in the rain and i'm 2 blocks from woodrow so i figured i'd peep out my new board

i'll sneak downtown saturday night and do my stealth garage bit. i'm not as decked out as y'all with helmet and gloves and stuff and i've never skated with any of y'all(unless we were kids). my bag has been avoiding other people and doing my own thing.

Awsome sesh last night. Old guy I hope everything is ok at your house and that your daughter is doing ok. She really impressed us skating that last garage. Not really for beginners, but I guess thats how you learn really fast. Bombsquad you are close to being 100%. Glad to see you gettin to shred again. I got home at 3:00. I love the cooler weather!!!
