Dallas- Fort Worth skate thread!!

I couldnt go tongiht cuz I had to work, and now I am doing homework. Is everyone getting together on Fri. too I hope? I FINALLY got me some sliding gloves/pucks and some barrel and stepped bushings. The ones neal gave me are very carvy, or, I just cant control them with my speed wobbles. Whatever you wanna call it, I am using them to correct my human error

Thats crazy!!! Star parking is right next door to that building and we used to skate it all the time. Its a 13 story. One of the first garages I ever did

Im guilty of doing it. But it was on my parents car going like 10 miles an hour, and when my mom noticed she got mad. haha.

Good for her, because even at low speeds the car has brakes and the skateboard doesn't. If the driver has to brake suddenly the skater can go under the car and be run over.

Oh no man I know, I thought she was overreacting at first but I thought of how stupid I was. So yeah, I agree with you guys, I wasnt trying to brag or anything Im not immature to that extent.. Just sharing life experiences, cuz im a fan of conversation.

On another note of being stupid... I was at a hill by my house the other night, and for some reason thought I had my pads on (im serious, I thought they were on) and they werent.. Well.. I went down this hill that goes to a curve by my house, and accidently hit some water and slid right off. (the board was faced basically sideways, yet going straight, sliding on all fours.) I slipped right off and I have rash on my elbow, DIRECTLY on my right tricep, and at the ball of my right shoulder. I also have rash on my right leg (sorta on my quadracep). I did manage to have my helmet on, but I realized I felt pain and noticed I didnt have pads on like I thought I did. I was so mad.. They were in the backpack I was wearing. Lesson learned, not to be such a slow thinker, and not checking the bottom before I went. The wounds are very dirty and infected, and I have been trying to keep them clean every day, and well bandaged. I also just sprung up some plantar faciitis in my left foot yesterday. Its killing me bad right now too, and I am missing my kickboxing class right now thanks to these events. Not too happy with myself.
