what up guys im new to longboard..dont have a board yet...but is anybody in the keller/southlake area that could show me the in and outs that could help me out a little if so just send me a message

Yeah man true that.... But its ok, cuz hopefully one day in my life, ill have a longboard shop here in Keller. Thats my goal at least. A longboard/clothing shop. Oh.. and sorry John! haha. I think cities that dont want longboarders/skateboarders in their area somehow attract new riders. lol.

I only wanna get into longboarding because my friends all skateboard and i suck at going off the ground with the board so i might as well do something were you are on the ground with the board most the time haha

Haha. yeah man longboarding is the way to go. Theres some good spots in Keller too, but you kinda have to do them at night due to so much traffic. Longboarding is a whole new world though. I find it to be a lot more fun than trick skateboards. I tried back in the day, and all I was good at was manuals of any kind really. lol. What was your name again? And yeah, you should come with us on a session. We usually go on Friday evenings, and William Richards is a chill guy, and has a lot of different boards that you can maybe try sometime. Thats my experience at least. I dont even own a board... i just have been borrowing my cousins for a long time now. lol.

Yeah i dont really feel like putting my life in the hands of a skateboard while trying to jump off a ramp or something simultaneously doing a trick....nah im good ill stay on the ground haha

Hahaha. Yeah longboarding has its ups and downs too. I actually just got injured saturday night in the neighborhood by sky creek golf course. There was water on the bottom of the hill. Ima post pics of the "damage" soon. Pics dont do the pain justice lol. Pics just make them look like little scratches, but one of them is on my tricep, and that tissue is sensitive!

*edit* Here are the pics..

That last pic is actually directly on my bicep muscle. Thats not my elbow or knee.. lol.

I live in The preserves of hidden lakes. You head towards davis (where that new qt is) and its the street to the left of that clubhouse/public swimming pool with the soccer fields next to it.

Hmm...you might find some aspects of longboarding to be a rude awakening.

Been reading this forum for awhile, finally decided to register and introduce myself. Names Brian, I live by TCU (but not attending) off cockrell. Been riding on a vanguard for 2 years? just bought a new dervish deck. I ride with a couple friends, usually just one.

JohnW and I live close to you in Fairmount; let's get together some time. We often skate Bellaire North by the stadium, and we always welcome new people at the downtown garage sessions.

Awesome I always skate Bellaire and TCU campus. Last time I went to the omni I got a citation for skating on private property. My friends fault cause he skated by the booth lady and she took his dervish and called the cops! And there was no way we were leaving without his $300 board
