the downhill dragon clan(aka team munkae trucks) are rolling into santa fe as well was Deity speedboards from colorado all getting here tonite...time to make some trophies...got 2 haybales sitting at my house, so the race course will be super safe.

if by chance you know where the race course is, please don't skate it until sunday. i don't want any extra attention been drawn to that spot, we'll be getting enough on sunday. thanks see everyone in 2 days!

Well, i've had a day to decompress after the race, been nursing my swollen knee and sore throat. Despite the rain and big headwinds, the race went off without a hitch! nobody was seriously hurt, no cops showed up and the organization of the race went well, i think.....if you have any ideas for organization or comments, critiques of the method i chose to pick heats, let me know...but i don't think another race will be happening till next spring. until then, work on your tucks, your cornering and go ride some snow this winter!

thanks to all the volunteers who watched a corner, drove a shuttle van, ran the brackets or baked cookies for the racers! this event would not have been possible without you guys! special thanks to ryan ricker for making some SIC trophies! lets see how long they last.

also thanks to the sponsors, Venom Busing, Ghoti Boards, Durango Boards, TImeship Racing and Colabo......unfortunately due to the snail mail service, Colabo's package did'nt get here in time, but if you raced and did'nt get a prize or have'nt seen fellowship of the bearing, let me know and when i get the package i can send one your way.

also thanks to Hallie Brennan and Joel Lipoveski for taking photos. Hallie has some posted on facebook and i'm going to look at Joel's photos and see what he got.

I liked how you did the heats this time much better than how it was done last time.
Thanks for putting it on, it was a blast.

Gotta love those! Once Tiana and I finish editing the pictures she took we'll post them up.

Or maybe we'll wait till our front page race report to be up.
