Default SAN ANTONIO longboarders read!

Hello all, I'm here to tell you about something I'm talking about planning that might interest you!
As some of you might know the only DH races ever held near us is the TEXAS OUTLAW. I'm not sure about you but I'm not down to have to drive all the way to Austin to race. So I'm going to start to plan out an outlaw of our own. I'm sure you have heard of the legendary Iron Horse, and maybe some of you might have heard of the beastly Gravatron mountain right across the street. The SLAB crew alone has like 15 riders if not more, and there are more and more people showing up around this area all the time. Entry will be 10 bucks per racer, all the money will go toward the winners of the final race on Gravatron.
Plan is to hold a double elimination on iron horse first, so you can lose one race but still have a chance to move on to the final heat. The winners of the races on iron horse will move on to Gravatron and the winners of the first final will move on to compete for the grand prize! If 25 people show up to race thats 150 for the winner, 75 for second and 25 for third. I also build boards, and i am willing to put in some work on a custom race deck that will be up for grabs. I log onto the fish every day so I'm always here to talk, if you would like to help plan with me or are just looking to get your name down on the list thats great. A little help is always appreciated in my book! I'm planning on holding the race in July or early august. I'm looking to have at the very late 15 people sign up just to get it started. But more are welcome.
Pads and a helmet wont be required but will be strongly recommended. You Will need a set of slide gloves, that will be minimum safety requirements needed to race.
Ive been dieing to try my skills against some experienced DH riders and i think the SLAB crew is just what I'm looking for. I'm sure we can have alto of fun and someone might make a little money, or win a board!
As of right now i am excepting names for the list of riders!
I cant wait to hear from you guys, and like a said I'm here to converse with.
Thanks again everyone! Peace!
