Okay, so here is the premise. People are often traveling all around and looking for people to skate with, or shops to go to, So what I opt for is a central post where people post where in TX they are from as well as a way to contact them, So there wont have to be an ass load of threads like, "Coming to Austin!".
This was someone can call some one else up, "Hey man, I'll be in town these days, want to skate?"
If you're game, post up. If not, no worries.

Little question though...what's HGR? is that some sort of local crew?
Can I be in it?
HGR stands for Houston Garage Riders, or Houston Garage Racers (the first preferably). Basically HGR is just those of us that have been skating Houston for some time now. There is no official roster or anything like that. If you come around the scene enough, you just become one. There is no induction ceremony, no cake, but there are some cool shirts out there.
Odds are you've skated with someone in HGR and may not have known it.
As of now, I'm pretty sure Scotty and Carl are the two longest standing HGR "members" to date. Mostly because they were the first ones there when King Edward created his cinema and told them that HGR will rule all that can be seen by their eyes.
Other members:
Adrian, Robbie (even though he is in Austin, he holds dual citizenship), Chubs, Myself, Max, Sean, Harper, Aria, Zac, Ben, and many more.
People need to quit worrying (or even caring) about which company is cool, or core, or whatever label you want to pin on them. A lot of so-called "bro-brah" companies are run by assholes.
I ventured into Carve one fateful day to buy my first board and met Scotty. Hadn't heard of HGR till I started reading the fish though.. I had heard of Team DudeBro. lol.. if you ever see a dude in Carve with long ass black dreadlocks, that's me usually sporting a pintail or dervish
. . .
well, might change it into "overpass bomber brigade".
lol.
do hwy6 overpass with me.

Dude, HOV off ramps kick way more ass than overpasses
they turn and do neat #### like that, and if you find the ones that empty in parking lots you can ride 'em out
