Tempe sess. this weekend!

I'm planning on doing my usual garage runs this weekend. Just tryen to get more people. Me and gianni are gonna be sliding parking structure seven. If you can slide please come!

It's 6th and Rural Rd. You should be able to see it pretty clearly at night, it's the brightest parking structure at ASU, rivaled only by the 10 story one on Mill and Rio Salado.

Have you guys noticed an increase in the security at the parking structures?

It does that. The heat will go up then youll go months and never see any one. Its just cause its summer. then it will die down and pick up again around christmas time. I say we go this sat at like 9 or 10.

Did i go to the wrong spot? I did not see a soul. I know i got there at 11 but damn, where the heck was everybody? I ran into some people in another structure but these folks were not the most talkitive and i did not feel like asking 20 questions to see if this was indeed some of the folks on this site that were riding tonight. To go on a tangent real quick, I have to say that if the people at the top were/are on this site and did not say a damn thing when i asked, "How are you guys tonight",I cant really say i want to ride in tempe again because they act like douche bags. Are we a community of skaters that stick together and support each other? Or are we a bunch of zonies that only like someone if they have spurs and a horse? I really hope that the 3 people at the top of the structure at the end of mill were not affiliated with this site at all due to the complete disregard for someone else asking you how you are doing! A ss Holes!
Overall, I had a good time riding solo and i am thankful that i found a new structure to go screw around in, so thank you for getting me out of the pad!

I couldn't make it out, I took the opportunity to work on my room mates MR2 to get it to selling condition. Got it started and cleaned up! Anyone want a Miata or a MR2 Turbo?

Ha! What a joke! I was there at 10 with my brother. We saw the guys you are talking about. You must be the duech cause we showed up on time and we skated tell 4 in the morning, where were you? We did leave that garage because of those kids. But we only went to get a beer and skate structure seven. Then we went back to find NOBODY! There is only 2 garages worth bombing and we never saw you anywhere. If you want to go so bad get my number, set a time, then call me. If I say I'm gonna do something I do it!

Tell you the truth tempe blows a big fatty anyways. You can keep blowing smoke up everyones ass but not mine! Wanna drive to anthem next time and i can make up some b.s. story too! Come on, it will be fun! Its only 42.6 miles from tempe to my pad. Not like i wanted to meet some cool people, skate, and have a drink after the session?!?

Me and my bro go skatin last night only to find 3 kids and only one that could hang. obviously not the best riders but at least they showed up...we were at lakeside til like 12 then left to structure 7 to slide came back at about 2 and the only person there was some cracked out 40 year old dude on a dervish. AZ driniking and downhill, what were u there for, an hour? Me and my bro were there from 10-4am. I dont care that we skated alone but the fact that ppl say they will be there and end up stayin home sittin on the couch is retarded at least if your not gunna show tell someone. #### and talk about ppl not showing up ive seen boards there that were not even in good ride condition being bombed. last night a kid with a wheel too tight burnt a core out of his wheel and about a month ago some kid was bombing a arbor with alpine trucks with NO BUSHINGS! not crappy bushings NO BUSHINGS! you could remove the hanger without removing the bolt! GET OFF YOUR ASS AND SKATE!!!!! poor kids with no bushings do it so can you!!!

P.S. we DO care about cars, they take us to the top of the hill !!!!! Chris' VW does it quite well to btw.

First off... i never talked BS.. I just posted a video from 2005 and said that i used to skate that structure every night for months straight back in the day. I'm just stating facts. Nobody used to skate that place back then. I didn't even post that video on this events thread. Seems like if you were thinking a bit more clearly you would have gotten someones number off the contact list so you had more of a chance to meet up with people instead of just expecting to run into them somewhere randomly.

Second ... i didnt "Flake Out". I'm pretty sure it's impossible to flake out if you never stated that you were coming for sure in the first place.. and I never said that I was coming for sure.

Third... I don't drive a miata.. i would never own a miata. I drive Volkswagen and the Miata is my room mates car. He happens to owe me over 3000 dollars and the only way he can pay me back is if we sell the cars. I think that's a pretty legitimate reason to not go longboarding if I happened to have some time to fix up the cars and get closer to selling them.

Fourth... My original screen name was xedgedubx... who do you think organized all the McDowell Mountain races? If I remember correctly, you even showed up to one and had a damn good time with your candy paint custom longboard. I don't remember how well you did on the hills but at least you had some fun. So don't call me a "Closet Zonie", you have no idea who you're talking to. You need to take it easy man, I would love to see you at a future event, I'm not the type of guy to get pissed and start a fight about these things so please man just back off and cut the #### talking because its not going to get you anywhere with me. If you're looking to get me pissed, you'll get nothing but a smile and a pat on the back. Don't be a douche.

Thank you Chris! I'm not trying to start anything. I'm just upset cause this guy has such a problem, and of all people, with you! I Had a blast last night. even if it was with the one guy I always ride with. I would have had just as much fun alone. who cares, SKATE! I hope that some time you will come chris! I hope that I can get more people to come. And that is a great point, If you wanted to meet up so bad why didnt you call someone? My name is Chris and my number is 480 430 0843.
