ya i get the stims cheap , but i rode them down bumble and gripped everything and i did it on a bunch of cali roads too. give um another try.i really like um. the freerides seemed like a really heavy release wheel tho, like when i broke them out of traction they jumped out alot

Hey, it's nothing to me as i'll probably never skate the spot that was blown, but couldnt this have been avoided?

You do have rights with cops, you know. When they ask "can i search you" it isnt a question with an implied yes though they will seem that way. You can say "no i don't submit to searches" because you have that legal right. but as soon as you say yes you throw away all your rights.

yeah we coulda said no... and then we would have sat there for 5 fu ckin hours while they waited for a warrant that would have been super fun! haha....and then his charges would have been worse and prolly arrested.

I've played that card before Rob, and it's not worth it. Most cops regardless of your tone, or attitude towards them will have you sit while they await a warrant. Using my "rights" never worked in my favor. It's America!

what happened is they thought they smelt something so they ran the dog around (which doesnt need consent) and then after the dog signaled they could search because they had probable cause. they didnt get caught smoking or something, the cop got a wif of something and ran the dog. there were like 5 cops down there for an unrelated event, but when they were driving out they stopped to talk.

Well, thank you evo! I was considering the green cause they're kind of a happy medium with the duro. My current board will be going to my girlfriend, so I would like something soft enough to still pump home from school with. Since KS decks are very versatile from what I've heard, it was my first option, it's just a matter of picking a decent freeride wheel that will get me around comfortably. 42" a suitable length for freeride? Or any other recommendations for length on a freeride deck?

As for all the arguing, come on guys. Longboarding is about the stoke! No need to be rude, or anything of that nature. Getting along ftw.

I have 46" Scimi and just pull some orange freerides on it. I have done any real sliding yet(mainly because I don't know how). But they roll fast and aren't too rough for pushing, They are loud rolling though. I had some 75d Gumaballs on it, that was smooth as butter...You can take it for a spin if you feel like rolling out to the westside sometime.

Yup, hey it wasn't me. My #### was in a bush 100 feet away! But yes we need to be safe out there. Can't have anything on us cause we will be given a hard time. And your right lucky, they roll smooth and fast. Wait tell they're broke in before you judge (good or bad)them. I think they were WAY better after I got the shinny scrubed off em. Oh and when I know the laws I WILL be back there. Onlything we can get in trouble for is speeding! I think

It's opinions being expressed. It wasn't anyones concern, or business until it was posted here for anyone in Arizona to read. If you want your stuff private, and to stay your business, don't post it for the world to read.

I personally don't care, I'm not a pot head, but I know more people that blaze over people that don't. But people of the sport, that skate the same spots have the right to voice their opinions, especially when it's posted here.

So While we were at sycamore 5 cop SUV's came flyen down the hill at about 70! An hour later they come to the top of the hill to tell us "no more skating here boys". When we told him politly that it is not against the law to skateboard one of them flipped out! He told us if he catches us again its gonna be a poop load of citations and they're gonna take our boards. It is obstructing the flow of traffic he said! haha. How bout the cops doing 70 in a 35 no sirens no lights. all of them came for a report of a car with the keys locked in it. No need to do 70! So who is the real criminal now! Damn cops. bradshaw remember that name! he was the biggest A hole!

I asked an Austin officer, and supposedly if you get their car number you can report them. Which I've started doing often
