I wish I lived in Phoenix. Seems like they have all the good hills in Az like Cheney, although I hear the cops are cracking down on that hill. There aren't many good garages in Tucson, and the one at the U of A is pretty hard to ride without getting caught.
Btw, do you guys know of any hills in Tucson/Oro Valley that you could tell me about? Can't seem to find any when I need one. I know of Via Entrada, but that's about it. I would really appreciate it.

you could always go for the big one and hit mt. lemmon thats all i know in tucson....other than that download google earth and start searchin

Dude cheney isn't that great...pretty mellow, just a fun cruiser. As for the cops....it's nothing new but doesn't really affect us. Hit up Josh Rolf (Munkae) he helps run a longboard club for U of A and they ride all the time...look up jkorte on the fish here too..he goes to school there and skates.

"A" mountain is pretty ###### wicked but the asphault sux balls. and yes all the garages down there suck balls too but its better than nothin. There is an ok hill probably like 25-30 i believe its on the way to redington mountain where everyone goes to go shooting but besides that Lemmon is the best thing you guys have down there.

It may not be great, but for someone who really can't afford to go out much (that includes traveling up to Phoenix), it's a very distant fantasy. And that's really all I'm looking for is small hills to skate after school. I skate Mt. Lemmon and Gate's Pass, but both of those are far away, and not something I can do every day. Just looking for some daily hills.

Like I said, there's a whole longboarding club in tuctown that rides a bunch. Munkae will show you plenty of hills and Jkorte on silverfish can get you riding with the group...good luck

That back side of GATES PASS is so SICK! a lot of traffic but pick your time right and that place is so fun! Your looking for hills you can skate to? not happening. I live in the east valley. I have to drive 10 miles to get to my nearest hill. Just gotta face it. unless you live in SANFRAN your gonna have to travel to find fun hills.

Gate's Pass is awesome, front and back. It's one of my favorites.
