Re: Houston Outlaw Garage Race 10-17
SLAB's in it for battle itself, by that I mean the experience. Tommy and Dorian are gonna give one hell of an effort for ALC I'm sure. Although I would not be suddenly surpised if one of our guys (not me) just happens to find himself getting the shortest line in the last heat.
SLAB ya on the 17 suckas

Re: Houston Outlaw Garage Race 10-17
It would be super groovy if San Antonio represented. As far as the ALC thing goes, don't forget Josh, Kyle, or Adam as contenders. All three have represented strong in past garage races. I like me, Chubs, Zac, and Robby in that order. Carl could be anywhere in the mix if he shows up. There, I've called my shot. 2 weeks and counting...

SLAB has 5 for sure so far.

Re: Houston Outlaw Garage Race 10-17
I'm going to race as many extra races at the last garage as I can. Switch race, mini, 40 and over, whatever, I like it all. Once we get everything out of the way we can have some fun with this and goof off, maybe even a giant schluffer game.
Zac, you will get in front of me from the push off and I will pass you around turn 4-5. Sorry, it had to be said.

Re: Houston Outlaw Garage Race 10-17
many of the best garage skaters are close to if not 200 lbs. You might want to put on 50 lbs and try for a 250+ category. Now that I think of it even that race would be tough with Josh and Richard waiting to clobber everyone. You might want to go to 300, I hear there is a Japanese fish soup diet that will do the trick.

How about at tandem race? No, wait, even better...a relay race. Teams of 4. Each member races to the bottom, then has to run up the stairs to the top, and tag the next racer for that leg of the race, until each person has raced to the bottom. The last person has to run up the stairs. First one back to the top, wins.
Yeah? Yeah!

and if it's gonna be like that we might as well have a 'under 120lbs/over 200 lbs' tandem race on the giant boards, like a 'masterblaster' race haha (beyond thunderdome anybody?)

I was just trying to be nice to the little guys with the 200+ rule. 250+ would be fine with me, too haha

Pure genius.
Everybody throws their name in the pot. Scotty draws the names, then we race. Oh, and when you run back up to the top, you have to do it with your board, too.
How many teams should there be? I was thinking 4 or 5, 6 tops. Don't want it to be too crowded.
