u need to be more specific. you asked about skate events in NEW Mexico..not specifically ABQ...my outlaw series has plans for continuing next spring..don't want to drive to santa fe to skate? organize a outlaw race in ABQ...or take the train to santa fe..thats where all the hillz are.
what i've learned is if there is no scene, make one!
new years day outlaw??! sweet! dont make it early in the morning please! i'll be back from australia and new zealand then i'll try to rally some folks to get up there.

I'm thinking doing it in a weird style.
Let's see if I can explain it...
All riders line up in rows of four at the start line, with a slight stagger. So the first row is at the start line, the next row is a couple of feet behind them, etc. etc. depending on how many riders there are.
Then everyone goes down at once, chinese style. At the finish line you are given a number of points depending on your position. 1st gets the most, 2nd gets one less, etc. etc.
We will run as many heats as there are rows of riders at the start line. If we have 12 riders, there will be 3 rows and 3 heats.
Every new heat the rows will rotate, so every row of riders will have a chance to start in every position.
The reason I want to do it this way, is to get in and out of there quickly.
man theres a bunch of stuff goin down in nm
whether it be in santa or here in burque
and like everybody is say you want more stuff to go down then set it up
im thinkin for the race the l latest we should do it is at like 10 late enough so that most everybody has a chance to show up but not to late to where we have a higher risk of getting kicked out (idk just a thought)
