Going sliding Wed. Tempe/PHX

I have been craving some good asphalt slidding so I am going to my favorite spot! It's in the tempe/phx area. Super steep to easy breezy! Great for freeriding! And if you really wanna learn tech sliding you want a hill that is STEEP! (IMO) The slope will help you keep going, making transistioning easier!

you know I'll be there. I get out of work at 4:30 and I'm in the area so I'm good to go right out of work! as long as i remember riding clothes. In that case I'll be another hour. This will prob be my last slide sesh til I get new wheels

. So that means I'll be down to skate for hours and I got a few new tricks I wanna try.

It'll work. If you have knee pads I def. recomend bringing them.

Are you planning on using a popsickle deck too or putting the small trucks and wheels on a longboard?

I say we all meet at a spot thats close and then go to the hill. If we post it we may blow it up and everyone know's how that works out with the cops when people go to a good spot and do dumb stuff.

I dont know where this hill is either and I talk to blstndwn all the time haha.

We dont have many good slide hills around here so If we can keep at least one low key, It would be awesome. I'm all about spreading the stoke but every now again you have to keep a spot on the low!

Yeah I'm not trien to be a turd. I'm sure every one has seen it, maybe some have skated it. It is foot hill with AMAZING asphalt and some good runs. I have no problem taking some one there, but I'm not going to make a billboard saying "come blow my spot"! HAHA! And YES bring the skate boards! I learned on a reg. skate board! I still use one just a little larger. evocity rides a tiny zipzinger

I didn't think about it that way but you guys are totally right.

I might be down to come along to just watch and learn. I still haven't tried sliding or grabbing rail since I dislocated my shoulder.

Nah i have like a 33 or 34 inch cruiser deck that's wider than the popsicle skateboard that I'll prob mount the trucks on. The wheels are super hard but they are your average size skateboard wheels.

It'll prob be just after 5. I think mike gets out then. I dont even get out til 4:30 typically but I'll put in a little extra time to pick him up and get over there. It'll take maybe 10 min. So like quarter after 5 I'll be at the rio garage.
