AZ tech slide thread

In hopes to peak interest in the slide scene here in AZ here is the official slide thread for our area.

Check in for updates, sessions, tips, pic's, vid's, events (HINT, HINT),and gear sales we find and whatever else slide related.

We've gotten some positive feedback from a couple people who seem to be interested in learning the art of tech sliding so let's do this!

That looked pretty sick and

for doing it on a dervish! i tried sliding one and It felt super awkward to me.

It a toeside slide into a toeside 360. good stuff. It looked pretty stylish.

I love slides, I also like the swingset a lot. Lucky for me the playground/park by my house has both of these things!!

I dislike how people described that, its just a drawn out toeside 360, very nice though, drawn out rotations always look nice.

I'm sayin the trick looks broken down. Goes into a reg toeside slide 90deg. horizontaly, then moves the board to the opposite side of his body and finishes the rest of the 270deg. spin. I do a reg toeside 360 one fluid motion crossing hands and spinning out. more tucked in a ball like a heelside 360.

I'm not saying I'm 100% right but If thats just a reg toeside 360 It's got alot of style. And i agree drawn out slides look better.

Would a shortboard be usable for tech sliding until i get an actual slide deck? Ive got a pretty little Zero board with indy 129s, bones reds, and some enjoi wheels i never use. would this work you think? The wheels are too small for any speed, but im a beginner, so i dont think that matters.

That perfect dude! All you need! I started on a freedom blank with some tensor trucks and tony hawk wheels! 55mm! You wanna try to slide with slope. lil wheels don't matter, you just get to a comfortable speed and slide any way. When you wanna try it out hit me up! I show you some good spots and give you pointers if you want! GIVE IT A TRY!

This is the same board i use and I love it! Has all the harware and gear too... this is a good deal!

well if one of these boys dont buy it by tomorrow I would If i were you. I see it going quick! they usually do. and if you dont buy it maybe i will for a spare haha

Lol, im broke as a joke. I need to start selling the boards i make and make some MONIES so i can buy setups like that, but until then, shortboard it is.
