Time for another AZ event?

Hey guys , I know everyone is dying for an event down here as much as I am. I would love to put one on but have been crazy busy with school stuff. Anyways lets get some input on what kinda event you guys would be interested in and I will see if i can try to make something magical happen. I know I can easily gather the sponsors, and get all the usually bull crap stuff figured out, I am gonna need some help on this one though, because its alot harder to get straight A's in college than in high school unfortunately. All the BS aside though, our community has shown tremendous growth and I feel its time to make the best of that growth and throw a gnarly event. SO with that in mind, hit me with ideas, locations , and people down to take some serious initiative and help me get this baby boy going =)

Yeah we have to keep in mind it's a gated community. They have gates for a reason haha...if it worked out, that would be such a sick race hill...but let's keep our eyes open and scout for a LEGIT road that would not be super difficult to host a race on. That's a tall order for most of AZ, but I'm sure somewhere out there there's a sweet sweet road with decent pavement, good turns, not too much traffic and not impossible to rent/close off.

All in all, it's been way too long, let's get this party started.

Freesytyle/freeride event. Fins a sick hill with flatness at the top for freestyly, and a nice run down for freeride. Sorta like what happened on the top floor of the garage with loaded, but more structured more competition and competitors.

I would be down for another Sickamore slam outlaw type event. It would be cool to actually get an official event and close off a road or something. Honestly we are not going to be able to race through any gated communities or neighborhoods so I'd say our best shot is a hill that's is somewhat deserted (Geronimo, Sycamore and Bumblebee type roads).

Ya i mean i think to get a sanctioned race we are gonna need the hill to be inside a small town or a random little road that not alot of people use.

I like Luber's hill it seems pretty easy to work with its a neighborhood only ppl you got to talk to are the neighbors and you shouldn't need hay bales that place is wide as fu ck... tell the neighbors whats going on make sure they are kewl with it and we are golden! a neighborhood is the easiest thing to work with you dont have to have police and ambulances and shitt

South Mountain is PERFECT! It's a park with a road that leads to the top of a mountain, and that would be a SICK race hill. Bumblebee would be bad ass too.

On the unmarked hill you would need bales just for insurance purposes... And you need ambulances for the same reason.

Inc could maybe help setting this up, but I would have to consult with saxo, he is kind of against us having our name helping or hosting an event till our website is up..whenever that will be haha

ya i mean to answer all in one post. I think that neighborhood and parks are both rough. you will have to deal with a home owners association and they will want ambulences and haybails. and Parks you have to go through the park recreations committess that require a spokesperson to attend their meetings and try to sway a whole bunch of stubborn a holes to let you do it. furthermore i feel like maybe Jerome might be a better idea or a small town like that. Bumblebee is an option tho. Also this event is going to be hosted by Team480 and WildChildSports so sax doesnt need to worry about the name thing. Anyone is welcome to come and help organize tho. its just has credibility for the other Az events so people know what its gonna be legit.

Maybe we should get a TON of people together for another garage bomb at Rio and Mill like the Loaded clinic, put flyers for it all over. Then have different little flyers for a real event that you planned further out and pass them out at the garage bomb. Good way to hype up the real event because all the people that go to the huge garage bomb will tell their friends about the full blown event.
