The Texas Outlaws are planning a slalom session next month in Austin. Nice hill, plenty of loaner boards, 2 courses will be offered. More info to follow. Big Ryan is out scouting locations. Your Amigo Eddy Texas Outlaws/Pavel Flow
I know you're out there. I can feel you now. I know that you're afraid. You're afraid of us. You're afraid of change. I don't know the future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it's going to begin. I'm going to show these people what you don't want them to see. I'm going to show them a world.. without you. A world without rules or controls, without borders or boundaries. A world where anything is possible.

Yea, there are a few hills here...maybe you should move to Corpus then...you can stay with me!
I'm more of a boardwalker myself, but when it comes to hills I like to bomb down the driveway entrances into parking lots down at Cole Park and over at the Bayfront near the art museum. Then there's this one long hill leading to Cole Park, its really a bike/jogging path, but its super smooth and fast, a lot of fun. There's 2 crazyass hills we have, both are super-steep. One is located on Park Ave. in front of the old colesium auditorium. The other is the entrance into the Holiday Inn on Emerald Beach. Both of those scare me just looking at them, but I heard the Park Ave. hill's been done ever since back in the day when skaters used clay wheels. Its purely a straight drop down into a 4-way stop with oncoming traffic on the next street ahead. Just a deathwish for a little girl like me, but a slider's wet dream. The Holiday Inn one is just crazy no matter how you look at it, extremely steep and very short, once you hit the bottom you have to make a hard left so you don't crash into the front desk. I've heard so many stories of people that didn't make that turn.
Just the other day I was challenged to shoot a pedestrian crosswalk over the highway, the ramps on either end are superfast with sharp 180 turns, 3 or 4 levels down. I heard its been attempted many times but only one guy has ever made it. That's just too hard for me to believe. Tomorrow I'm going down there to check it out, maybe I will give it a try, I'll letcha know how that turns out.

Used to live in Bear Creek off HWY 6. My wife is from the Woodlands. We're gonna be in Houston 12/14 and I'll be looking for places to skate.

Re: Anyone live in Houston Texas?
I live up in the woodlands directly north of houston and there is a bout a group of 5 of us that go down one of the many parking garages in the area. There are four garages that are good, but none over five stories that don't have security. If anyones look for people to ride with we don't mind.

None of you asshats are in the hammers shadow but, I will say the new year will bring some forum changes, one of which will be much stricter enforcement of the general anti-hater TOS rules.
