ok, now that I've got that out of my system....
I just found this forum and I don't have time to catch up, on the real specifics, can someone fill me in?

WHERE is this ? I live in the Scottsdale / Phoenix area near 56th and the 101

so heres a re-cap for those just hearing about it...

chapparal park in scottsdale (scottsdale rd & hayden) - 9:30 is registration pusher starts at 10... first 50 people to register will get a free event shirt, after that you can order one for $5.00, there will be water at registration but BRING SOME WITH YOU IT WILL BE HOT, from chapparal park to tempe town lake is approx 6 miles so get ready to PUSH... (we will be going right past the wedge for you pool guys) at tempe town lake we will have a FREE bbq set up, burgers, dogs etc.. feel free to bring some food tho, just be ready to share you can leave it with the registration people. we will be raffling off lots of goodies including 2 count them TWO Loaded Vanguards, Longboard Larry gear, Tunnel Wheels, lots of t-shirts, hats, dvds, stickers and the list goes on, bring your friends, family whoever... remember its all about speading the stoke and chillin with good people oh and its ALL FREE

anyone under 18 needs a note from a parent or legal gaurdian or one present, we're not hating on the kidz we're just playin it safe

perfect date. i'm vacationing in the area that weekend (coming down from so.cal). is there any dh or is it just fun cruising? just wondering so i know what board(s) to bring.

its not completely flat but theres no hills to bomb bring them all im sure alot of the people going will be down to show you around and bomb some hills

there really isnt lb specific shops but one of my favorites is sidewalk surfer been around since the 70's everyone is super chill and they've got a pretty good selection of boards etc...

There are no really long hills in Phoenix, but there are a few slight slopes around ASU that are good for picking up some speed and sliding. I'm also told that there is a massive hill at Hawes and McDowell, but I've never gone to it myself. I wonder if any of the parking garages at ASU are open for a bombing raid.....

just got on and saw all about this event and was wondering if I could bring some coffee for everyone. all I would need is a table to set up the big things of coffee and cups for everyone. my boss is donating the coffee and all the stuff if we want it. let me know. either way looking forward to this event, should be fun.

Wiped near camelback and hayden, steep hill, footbreaked about almost half of it, put my foot up, got some speed footbreaked again my board got out of control and I started running and just fell hard, I hit my helmet really hard too.

I just want to say thanks for putting on this event, It was great to see such a good turn out. It was a great run with great guys but F-ing hot out. Thanks and lets do it again soon.
