hey do you ever have any problems with the garage security or cops in ftw? Me and a group of friends got yelled at before we even got into a garage in dallas

Man, a year ago I'd have been down... but I moved from FW to NJ! I used to pump through Trinity park every afternoon.

Broken_Only_Once may be up for a ride, he's from that neck o' the woods.

Security is always an issue in downtown FW, but the garages are so awesome and plentiful it is worth it. I have two rules: I don't skate on the street going from garage to garage, and I don't skate down a garage against traffic.

If you drive from garage to garage there is less of a chance security or the cops will see you 5 minutes after hearing on the radio there are skaters in one of their garages. If you skate down against traffic you might encounter a Bass-stopo bike cop riding up the ramp - they usually don't ride up against the traffic.

If I get caught I usually skate by and tell them I'm leaving (don't stop, just ride by) and then I leave. I have had a few say they didn't care, and most are confused by a 40 year old in a helmet and pads on a Monday night at 8:30 and just laugh and tell me to leave! Never any trouble with real cops, just security.

And don't go in the garages in a pack unless you are planning on making one run and leaving. I have spent literally an hour skating The Grail without getting hassled when by myeself - I am STEALTH!!!

what garages do you like best? ive been in the one downtown right by pint and slice.. it was super chill, but, the elevator wasnt on so we were kinda bummed. 3 of us went maybe 5 times.

i know this thread is kinda old, but i was wondering if you guys ride the river greenway much? i wanna get some more info on that.

Thanks to some dumb newbs who decided to start riding fw garages around 7-8 in the afternoon caused security to be so against us ive gotten trespassing warning at bass and people have gotten tickets at omni so we have been tryin to not skate dtfw
