Default Houston and surrounding areas

Where are the best board shops? Is anyone from around here? What about spots?

Right now the source in the village, and Surf House of houston are both good shops.

i hate the source... except for the trucks (which are still overpriced). limited everything and high prices, plus you can't ride the sector 9 they're trying to sell you first.

seriously dude, for anything specific shop online. griptape, hardware, risers; anything shortboard compatable... the source

Go to Galveston and check out Surf Specialties. They have a shop on the seawall, but you should to to the old shaping room shop two blocks off the seawall on 37th.

Soundwaves is at the Bay Area Blvd exit next to Sun and Ski. They have a lot of sector nine boards. Probably the best Sector Nine selection I've seen, plus they have some other stuff too. They also carry indo boards, clothes, videos, surfboards. Actually, the Sun and Ski sports next door has some cool boards as well. They carry Arbor and they had some other stuff I hadn't seen in long boards, speed board, etc.
