That's what I was thinking at first but what if we tell the companies that they're gonna be on the radio but it doesn't work out?

Re: South Mountain November Outlaw
The leathers debate is tough, i've been beat down south mtn by dudes with no shoes on, let alone padding; just cool older guys who don't give a fcuk. So I almost want to say don't make it mandatory, but at the same time i know that'll mean noobcakes showing up and falling off an edge. Is there some kind of waiver you think we should get set up? Also, for the beginners race, there's a perfect hill just past the first little shop station thing to the left, are we thinking of the same thing? or are you talking about the road to the top from the auditorium down?

Maybe we don't make leathers mandatory but HIGHLY reccomended. Helmet would be no doubt mandatory. We will have some sort of waiver that states we can't be held responsible.
As far as the beginner race, do you know after that one turn where you can go down San Juan Road or take the turn all the way around? It's right after that when it starts to go uphill where the beginner race would start.

Sweet, that helps a lot! I didn't really read the waiver because I wasn't planning on sueing you guys if I fell, but I trust if your dad is a lawyer that it's legit.

Alright, the official date is November 23rd. We still need some sponsors. Me and Christian (Poopradio) are in the process of contacting potential sponsors. The entree fee is 10 dollars as of now.

What about spectators? Can people watch?

People are more than welcome to watch. Depending on how many people are there we will probably have multiple heats. Just find a spot that you think will be interesting (and safe) to watch from, probably not on the outside part of any turns.

Well you're more than welcome to come out for this event! The more out-of-staters we can get, the better!
This race actually will be legal, it just won't be cleared with the park.

My question is, how will you get rid of the bikers on South Mountain? and the runners, and most importantly the moms with the babys in the strollers?

They're usually out of there by 12 o clock. And even if they are there, they stay in their lane so just stay in the right lane except to pass.

Re: South Mountain November Outlaw
Can there be like a freeride sesh after. Im not very good at Dh but it would be nice to practice on the newbie course you have set.
-
Re: South Mountain November Outlaw
Yeah, that's fine. You can go down the hill whenever you like, We just as that you don't disrupt the race.

Re: South Mountain November Outlaw
i'm down for this man, and in reality the hill is not that tough at all and i'm sure a lot more people could do it, than you think.
maybe you should try talking to the park and see if they can just get it closed down for us. i'm sure it wouldn't be that hard make it an official race.

I dunno. I'll talk to them about it. I won't mention that we're already planning it out so that if they don't like the idea they won't call the cops on us or anything
