ehh, i don't think it will be a problem either way. the rangers are real cool when i boarded there they never said anything bad to me and i even asked them if skateboarding was okay and they said for sure.

Yeah whenever I go the rangers are always fascinated that we ride down the mountain on these things. All in all people here in Arizona are pretty chill, I can't wait to move out of this state but I'll miss the people.

I'll contact the City of Phoenix anyway to see if we can get our own day so we won't have to worry about bikes. I'm playing it off as a great way to get tourists so I'm emphasizing the safety and the fact that we're getting sponsors and riders from across the country.

I'm gonna call them on Monday so I'm not just sending an e-mail, that way it's more personal also. And plus I have really good people skills haha

sounds like quite the event now. i'm going to NEED to show up. and as for the leathers... i would say pads, jeans, and helmet would be mandatory for the highers speed run. idk if i'd have some by then, but i already have a thor impact rig, sette leg guards, and some sette bomber shorts.

What do you guys think about making this a charity event? It may be easier to get the City of Phoenix to let us use the road for the whole weekend that way.

for junior or beginner heats have a $10 all day buy in and for competitive heats a $25 buy in? more or less depending on how many people you have. adjust it so you can have some prizes. cuz it'd be for charity do something simple like crailz/JimZ bushings for 1st, zigs orangatangs flywheels etc for 2nd, and maybe some bearings for 3rd or some ish?

for juniors maybe do a cheap full face for 1st (bell, azonic, etc), and idk bout 2/3rd.

I'm filling out the application to reserve the park from the city and am realizing that this is going to cost a lot more money than a 17 year old has. Sooo I think we're gonna need to use the money that we get from selling tickets to pay for it.

As much as I would like to do that I don't think I can afford a charity event.
