Getting young blood into the cone killing frenzy it's always good. You will get the hang of it. Nobody laughs at anybody, we are not about making fun of other people just out having a good time skating.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, cold beer in one hand - longboard in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming, Yeaa Haaa What A Ride!!!

Can't wait to go to the slalom event.
Most likely i will need to borrow someone's slalom board, as i don't have any slalom setup lol.

Will there be any other "events" or even clinics? Clinics are always nice.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and where does everyone in Houston usually go skate? I need some new spots. I heard there were maybe a handful of decent hills but I've never gone looking. Does everyone just skate garages? I'm tired of flat landing it

You will have to get in touch with the Houston crew, to check out there spots.
We will have some setups for people that don't have one. I have a GOG maple deck setup with Ace 99 front Ace 106 back that anybody can use.

I'm gonna try out my Bruce Logan. It's got a bennett 4.3 front and tracker rt-s back with 81 a alligators. Not really a slalom board but it kinda has a slalom setup...I think I'll get by. Oh yeah and I can't forget to get a damn helmet!!!
