Me and my girlfriend (mostly her actually) are getting into board building.
Hunter Lumber can order Baltic Birch in 1/2in 1/4in and 1/8in. They are like two weeks out on the 1/4 and 1/8, and the 1/2 they can get in a day.
    I don't remember the prices.

There is a woodworkers supply company that specializes in high quality woods. I've never been there but I assume it would supply good wood. its off of I-25 just north of Alameda.

They have molding and veneer. But no plywood. Hunter Lumber had 5 foot square 1/8 inch thick Baltic Birch for like $13. That's plenty to make a 5/8 thick board.
