Re: DFW best areas to ride?
Hi all I am a new longboarder and looking for people to ride with, anyone going out this weekend? I met Mark from Texas Longboards the other night at Katy Trail, great guy and Katy trail was a blast. The garages everyone talks about in here sound great and I would like to give them a try.

Yes I have helmet (not full face) and slide gloves, I haven't developed the skill of sliding yet though.

I can help you with that. I got a great little slide hill behind my house. I'm always willing turn people onto the virtues of sliding.

Hey HypDad I could use a lesson or two. Do you specialize in dudes with extra large physiques?

I'm more a guide than a master. I just try to show people how fun and how easy it is. I don;t think your size really matter. One of the first to ride a longboard in TX, T-MO, is very large (300+) he was even big back in the day, but he still rips. I don't know if he slides much, though. Flexibility is more an issue than size. Can you ride drop knee?

Re: DFW best areas to ride?
It Wednesday What better way to say hello to Thursday than to kick sand its face as you bomb Mozart garage in dallas, or any garage. I have a fever and the only thing that will bring it down is sore thighs and worn down slide pucks! lets do this ####! 10:20 Be there!8)
