If anyone knows how to contact the guy who was wearing the blue "staff" shirt and hanging out of the chase car with the camera, you should do so. And ask him again to e-mail the footage to me --- thokk2@earthlink.net .
If I don't get it within the next few days I'm just going to use what I have, it's not much, but It's good.
i am currently trying to figure out a good location, so if you have suggestions, im all ears.

we could try to do something at los altos. maybe some insane slalom. time trials are something where as many people should be there as possible. insane slalom is the bastard child of my imagination. you get a fast start, and it is similar to banked slalom, but in bowls and on walls, and the normal ground also. an imaginary penny for your thoughts.

I'm not going to participate in this one, as my shoulder needs recovery and I'm not a big fan of the park.

I dislocated it popping my thumb, kinda bizarre... hurt way too much

in you haven't done it...a night time ride from the top of indian school to UNM with a little detour once you get to Winrock, I've never seen any security all the times I ridden through it.

If y'all threw a race on this course, You'd have a group of riders from Texas coming up to your event. How fast does this course get/whats the road quality like?

That road has too much traffic and terrible pavement in some places....Sandia Crest Rd. is14 miles of pure 40+mph downhill with plenty of switchbacks and almost no traffic depending on the day and has had pros race down it before...but its out of Team Alb.'s city limits

It does have traffic, but it has very wide bike lanes on both sides. the speed limit on it is like 40 (I think). I don't remember the pavement being that bad. I've never ridden in, but I've coasted in a car and had to brake quite often...

How is it out of our limits? It's outside of the city, yes. But why wouldn't we go skate an amazing hill that is only like 15 minutes away?

I was talking about the Crest, Dub did some filming of us on our 1st runs down.

the roads out tword Madrid are what really make me salivate tho.....Is that hill like 14% grade? and you can ride them all the way to Los Cerritos, traffic might be an issue...

I gave that guy Jordan a call, and he said he'd e-mail me, but he hasn't yet.... I think I'll just use what footage I have, and if sends me the rest I'll make another video.

ok people. our options are a free event at los altos, with points still awarded, or another downhill race, or a race at harper, which depends on the weather.

Or we could not have a race this weekend and just go cruise around somewhere?...
That just seems like the direction it's heading...

ya, this weekend will just be a cruise run. we'll start up in the heights somewhere, and ride ditches and hill on thee way down to raise awareness of the team, or something.
