yes more of you should skate the crest rd. it is truely one of the best roads i've ever skated....and i've bombed hills all over the US, canada and europe. its a one of a kind. go skate it.

as for highway 14. i'm not sure what section you are talking about. if you are going towards santa ta, the section dropping down into madrid is steep. to bad its chip-sealed. gnar pavement. will brunson used to skate that road all the time before they repaved it, he woulud consistently hit around 55mph. now, with the chip-seal its ridable, but alot slower and sketch.

if you want GNAR. check out HeartBreak hill right off of the 14. on the right hand side if you are heading towards santa fe. 60mph+ if you push it..but there is a scary,, scary corner that will literally kill you if you #### up right there.

me and brunson at the top of heartbreak hill

going into the only turn on the hill at 50+. don't fall.

to go for a skate is to go for a drift, to explore the streets looking for hidden places, opportunities for creative misappropriation; it is to recombine the artifacts of production and reinterpret the city for oneself-ocean howell

    Is this heart break hill?

If that is I really want to skate it. But I need leathers...

Tiana's friend from out of town is with us this week, and she doesn't skate. But she is willing to hang with us when we do, so we'll probably stick to a small hill or a short section of ditch somewhere.
Or maybe we could go slide somewhere....?

Well... by then I may have leathers... So... by then we should hold a massive outlaw race there. Maybe someone could supply some hay-bails for that death turn.

That would be awesome. We should make this a big thing. And require leathers.

ok, so tommorow will probably just end up being a non racing sunday, so relax, take a break. go to skate shops and shred anywhere if you want, but there will not be an organized event tommorow.

bear, you should have asked me about my leathers before i sold them! but i'm not sure if you would have wanted them, they smelled reeaaaallly bad. check "whoops leathers" on ebay. they are a UK leather shop that sells old, vintage suits. i got my old suit for $50, so don't say leathers are to exspensive. speedsuits don't do #### when you eat it, trust me i know

throwing a outlaw on heartbreak hill is not a good idea. you would need ALOT of hay bales for that hill. and the runout is pretty messed up. the pavement on the actual hill is perfect, but once you hit the flat part and are going 50+ you hit chip-seal and get mad wobbles. not a good outlaw race hill. but i can think of some other roads i've skated around the ceder crest area that would work.

i just went to ebay and checked whoops leathers, and i got no search results. my mom said i can get leathers, but they have to be under 100 bucks, cuz i'm still growing, and nice leathers are too hard to replace once i out grow them.

you guys really should get in touch with David Angelus. he knows more about these spots than i do. i've only been there a few times and don't really know how to get there. David knows.

and bear, i checked whoops leathers out for ya, but they have nothing for sale, wierd. but dude, you live in ABQ, check thrift stores, motorcycle shops and sex fetish shops for old, beat up one piece motorcycle racing suits.
