me and dave angelus are meeting at indian school around 2:30-3 this afternoon to get a few runs before i go to the airport for mARyhillll.
to go for a skate is to go for a drift, to explore the streets looking for hidden places, opportunities for creative misappropriation; it is to recombine the artifacts of production and reinterpret the city for oneself-ocean howell

How's this look for the next race? Tiana, Leon and I were messing around up there yesterday. It's a pretty fun run, that 90* left hand turn is pretty killer. Bicycling, bicycle, bicycle parts, bicycle trips, bicycle tours, cycling, cyclists

We need leathers first, and to get better. But leathers may help that. So that looks good for the 21st?

needing leather was my excuse....but when I finally got the balls I realized it not that bad! just be cautious the 1st time, would race it until your comfy. Corners aren't as bad as they look, you won't have to drift them. just come armed with a 40+ foot break, and the breezes give a great air break too!
AMAZING RIDE!!! IT WILL MAKE YOU BETTER!!!

It's pretty fun, we only did like the middle half; from the 90* right turn to the sweeping right turn. It's faster than you think it would be too. On the sweeping left (after the 90* right) we guesstimate we were hitting like 25mph or so.

I'm up for another race. Anywhere is good for me. Just so long as there is little traffic, and few to no stop signs and NO lights. Just tell me where to go.

Also, if anyone is up to just cruise around and maybe hit some ditches let me know.

For some reason all we do is dh.
We should get some cones and do some slalom. Or a ditch slalom course. Or possibly a pusher with a few good dh spots, do multiple laps?

valverde is too slow, sierra would be good, i like the never ending right, pershing is doable as a race, there is a nice variation that might be a better course, turning left on morningside and then right on little zuni. Also on the other side of ridgecrest there is a run we(my crew) call the hyder slider, it has like 5 turns, goes by hyder park through the middle of the run, actually a really nice little course.

New thought. do a pusher through that neighborhood including those hills...

A pusher in that neighborhood would be awesome, a little speed to draft or whatnot and lots of skoging.
