There's this retention pond across a little creek by my house that i go to all of the time. It's pretty small but since it's so close, who really cares. It's in Spring, and its always fun to ride, and off the back side of it there is this big drop that you ride down off the side and it swings back around over this cylinder. It's cool if you have some big wheels because your going to end up landing in some grass at the bottom.

BTW.... went to Arthur Storey park off belaire and beltway, theres a big ditch out there. it was across some water so i didnt bother with it ....and two good (but ((very)) short) runs in the park.

you dont know what your getting yourself into then. its near the ez-7 ditch. i forget the exact name of the road, scotty knows whats up though

meatgrinder will #### people up. baddest in the world...probably not. scarry fast, and unforgiving? ....all day every day. please dont go there alone. expect to leave with less skin than you brought.

on a side note, some one bashed out a window to my buddy's truck in the EZ 7 parking lot. they walked away with an i-pod, and nearly $200 of Cockfight skateboards money. watch your stuff if you are down at the ditch. 43rd kids got sticky fingers.

I'm just thinkin of the drainage ditches in NM. This ditch is obv pretty epic with a name like meatgrinder tho. I think I'll probably google map it and just search for it to find a good parking spot.

those are some of the shadiest kids on the block. if they're tan, dirty looking, and wearing mostly black, keep a wary eye on your ####.

Sounds like it wouldn't be a bad idea to be packin' when you're there too.

290 exit Mangum and go north.
Mangum turns into Watonga, continue on Watonga passing over the bayou.
Go through the Pinemont light and park in the strip center on the left hand side before the next light(which is Creekmont).
Walk back towards Pinemont on Watonga, it will be on the right half a block down.
Wear pads.

its nothing like ABQ ditches. its like a giant version of the EZ 7 channel. it starts pretty much flat like the 7, then then drops down really steep. then flatens again for a short bit. then you have to figure out what you are gonna do, cause you have two options, try to make it to the grass, or drop down again and ride along the bayou with out going in the drink.

the surface combined with the quick burst of speed=the meatgrinder.

I was just on google maps looking at the meatgrinder and it looks like there is another branch off of the creek that could be skateable. Anybody tried it?

EDIT: the aforementioned branch is in the opposite direction of watonga on wtcj

Which one? the big one next to the water treatment plant on Bay Area or the one next to LA Fitness on HWY 96?
