whatever dudes i don't wanna cause any disruptions. I'm pretty laid back and will enjoy what there is to enjoy So please don''t go out of your way to make a wheel chair'ed skater happy
Looking forward to feeling the terra firma in Texas. See my family in S.A. for a bit and drink some good locals brews. And skate my behind off!
Yes, I will cover pedi-dexterity moves and set up courses if need be. It would be nice to race cones. Twisties are more work than riding garages and demand more discipline. So let's try to mix it up and as far as going fast, I prefer making big arc'ing turns over just going fast. But heck I'm easy to please.
Let's Skate! Thanks DOC!

I'll get in contact with the engineer of the building(spec) and see what's up, or what has to change. Other then that, i'll be checking spec on a regular bases.
Peace

Is H-Town going to be drive-your-own-ride or have we started discussing carpooling?
Carpooling will be an option, me, Kelly and the skogg master hope to carpool. I might end up having to take my own car. Who ever rides with me pays no gas money.

I'm pretty sure most of us are already looking. I think that H Hill has potential. With the long hill and two garages.
I agree. I think that area is the most friendly to our traditional wednesday night skates. The smaller garage is ok, I haven't skated the bigger one but I think priya has. they both dump onto the hill which matt, luke and mike have done and all say is sweet. There are 3 high security garages across the freeway plus the patriot-esque parking lot at the bottom of h hill.
Datapoint right next door as well and the new dudes with no gear seemed to handle it fine from what i heard so if we bring new people the sesh will still be accessible. It's all near spec, and there's delicious food more readily available.
Sounds like a win-win to me. Thoughts?
Woohoo! Got to sleep last night! Hopefully I will again soon...
If anyone is skating early tomorrow hit me up. Definitely down for something around 5-530.
I'd be down with moving spec to somewhere else (doesn't have to be a garage), I think most of us have outgrown it anyway. What I like the most is it's at the same spot, at the same time, every week, making it easier for people to meet up with us for the first time. Moving it to the rim sounds sick. That's my vote. Whatever ends up happening, we need something at the same place same time weekly.
Is this the SLAB announcement thread? Or is there another one?
Who was the kid talking shiit? Those vids you posted of that super steep hill are fast! You could probably teach me a thing or two, pm me if you want to skate some time.
Jake, I need your money.
Houston: Maybe.
Austin: HELL YES!

I think you're right dude. I think we should have wednesday late sessions at the rim. Especially since Kelly pointed out that it isn't gonna be closed off forever.
We've been sweeping it each time we go there, it's not too much work to clean.
Thoughts?

Idk about that. It seemed like the new guys (are they new or just haven't skated a hill that intense?) weren't too happy about that hill. Hell, I'd do it again no matter how much I have to bust my ass to slide all the way down backside, frontside, and shutdown but that's just me.
