Fun skate with the Rowdy Bombers tonight. I just wanted to let everyone know, I know we were planning on hitting Austin with Chris Sunday afternoon, but the SFA (Stephen F. Austin) team from Nacgadoches and the AtM team from College Station will be up there Friday and Saturday, leaving around 2 on Sunday. I think I'd be sick to switch our days, and maybe even get the Houston people up there too and have some HUGE group of skaters. They're also going to be partying it up Friday night, and grilling saturday, and of course, skating our legs off. Anyone interested?

Here I am here taking a break from a decent night of sleep. Who needs to sleep all the way through anyway? It can't be healthy.
I agree with TxBdbr about the Spec not a desirable garage since going to Houston a couple of weeks ago. But now that we don't have it we have lost the cohesiveness of SLAB that the garage did seem to bring to us. Temporarily, I'm sure, we are w/o a really good, dependable, and safe location to meet where old and new SLAB skaters can bank on. And now we have to deal with standard time constraints.
Hopefully you guys will be checking in on this thread so we can decide what days we are going to do what this week when Chris is here. No matter what we decide to do if your schedule doesn't jive all you have to do is contact Chris directly and he'll be stoked to go skate where and whenever. He'll be staying with his sister just off McCullough about a mile or so north of my office.
So here's how I see it happening, subject to change:
Monday-Chris turns 55, arrives in SA (not sure what time), full moon. I'm not sure if I will be available but I'm trying.
Tuesday - no plans (yet)
Wed - initially planned - early sesh - would have to be real early, maybe mordor, iron whore, maybe Los Reyas (?) near Helotes and burgers after at my aunts house.
Thurs - Spec @ 10 then DT to MiTierras
Fri - Houston
Sat - Return from Houston, rest and family time for me
Sun - super early DH'n @ Evans & Canyon, then to Austin
I hear ya Mitch, to be considered for certain and I'm not sure about late night Thurs then Houston on Fri.
Still thinking about it.............. back to bed for now.............zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
shiznit fellas... maybe we can just skip houston and persuade all of the houston guys to go to austin this weekend... then we all have like bazillion skaters in austin to skate with...

I'm not gonna make it to Houston or Austin this weekend. Two out of town trips in one month is enough for me.
I'm gonna throw my stuff in my car wednesday and just head out after work. Where is the early sesh gonna be?
I'm down for the spec on thursday but I can't do the late downtown run since I have work in the morning.
I'll be skating SA saturday afternoon/evening like usual if anybody isn't gonna go out of town let me know and we'll rip something up. I have quite a few spots on my side of town that need to be christened.
I'll be out for early sunday bombing. What time is it starting?
Mike: Thanks for posting those pics/vids from the rim
Kelly: did you get a chance to work on that video from the HGR race? Maybe we could check out the raw footage if you're still working on it.
Kelly: what's los reyas? did you find a new spot? pm me.
Jake don't be a pussy and do the Mi Tierra run. Even Matt's going! Are you going to let him show you up like that? We've all had work in the morning, shiit, for the past few weeks (and last night) I haven't slept at all most nights. Sleep in on Saturday since you're staying in town! I want to see you there buddy!
Kelly: also interested in Lost Rayray, pm me too?

The Skog Master has arrived in the Alamo city.
Kelly's organizing a 'Patriot" style race from the top of the circle tonight. It will be new spin on our old favorite "heavy locals only" spot that is sure to satisfy. Looking to assemble around 7:00 or 8:00 tonight.
We can talk about this weekend, looks like it's gonna be some of us heading to Houston and some us heading to Austin on friday and saturday. Either way we should all meet at Wahoo's in Austin on Sunday TBA.
It gonna be wild weekend (hope nobody gets hurt)

What a cool area! Olmos Park ridden early in the day and then later this evening. Pretty freaky in the dark going 25mph. Great bunch of guys coming from all different directions and just as in San Diego, bombers. You all are real skateboarding aficionados and got that special touch of Texas stoke.
this was a hell-of-a hill!
And my tour guide! I don't know what to say but I'm being treated like a king here Thanks loads dude! Kelly is a great skater and despite his debilitating ailment, can put up with crazy guys like me thanks again brother! you the manG!
amazing burgers at pub we went to.
i am so freaking beat ! i skated my butt off tonight! sleepy time! tomorrow more fun!!!!
