Just so you all know A&M University just got permission to form a skate team in the fall to compete with the one already established at Stephen F. Austin State University. we are currently planning an event to take place at both schools in the fall. It will be open to everyone. If you are intrested in helping organize let me know.

hmm that sounds like fun but im without a car/ride for now. if you guys are ganna be over here near sea world you should definetly hit me up. if its within skating distance ill be there. im not sure what you guys like to skate but there is a hill over here its called seascape, its one of our favorties.
I just checked out seascape on google maps and it looks really awesome. What do yall do at the stop sign at the end, where all the "spring" subdivisions are? Going left there looks really cool and descend down that road as well. Every tues and weds I go to my girlfriends house which is really close to iron horse, and could make some time so skate this hill this coming week. Anyone else wanna join on tuesday or weds? Ibombhills, what time do you usually skate seascape at during the day (so its the safest)?

the stop signs arent really a problem, i mean every now and again there might be a car pulling out but usually we just go straight through no problem. its a sick ass hill dude, smooth wide open good for carving and you can get some ok speed. as for during the day, anytime is good. you just have to scope out traffic for a min and get your timing just right. thats the most important part. you have my number?
pm about it, it would be sweet to get some fresh riders around here. i think my friends might dig it too.
let me know man

then after that we could all meet up somewhere else, for the SLAB skate, unless we are just going to go all out and say this wednesday SLAB meets around seaworld to scope it out.
Duno, what you guys think?
also, why the F are the new reflex bushings so damn pricey? they make venoms look cheap.

Do you ever go left at the stop sign? Onto tiger path? Def need to see it in person to see how steep it is and how wide the road is. Iron horse is the widest greatest rd Ive found. I dont think ive got your name or phone number yet.
A friend at work showed me this hill yesterday out in Boerne. It would be a drive to get out there but it looks like a great steep, safe road in a really isolated area. Check it out.
wtb my car back i wana come skate these hills with you guys but yesterday i got a big speeding ticket and im not going to be able to drive for a little while :/

Will bro you live really close to me, and Kellys shop is around the corner. If its conveniant Id have no problem giving you a ride to some sesh's as long as you can come out. Wont be able to if Im at 1604 and Braun already though.
The hill looks pretty huge, its 6% and a little over half a mile. The pics I posted are the steepest part and about 2/3 down the whole hill, this is the run off. According to my friend that told me about it, the road is fine and should be rideable.

yea if you go left it just goes into another sub division. its allright i guess. well compared to iron horse its pretty close. its the best in my area for sure. my name is adam, but all my friends just call me josh. my number is 3671279.. i think. i posted it on here somewere. [new phone, shotty memory]
that hill looks really familiar, deff have to go check it out. idk if you guys have been out to medina lake? the main road that loops all the way around it is the most gnar hill ive ever seen. FM1283 it starts from dancing bear restraunt and continues for a long ass while

Dang bombhills did you get a new deck? What deck is that in your avatar? Iron horse can get you going pretty damn fast.
Luke, compared to new crownridge this one is probably about 30% longer, as well as steeper. Probably a lot steeper but im not sure. Did you decide on what your setup is gonna be on your crystal challice? Are you set on getting randalls? I might be looking to sell the blast waves Ive got if your interested.
Damn well I just remembered Weds I wont be available to skate, Im going to austin with my gf for the whole day to visit some friends and hopefully the Austin crew but will be coming back that night, so Ill be in for the SLAB session. Josh lets maybe plan on skating seacrest Tuesday?
I believe, even though I havn't set it up yet due to not having the proper riser, that with a 3/16" riser, and possibly trimming my 74mm to about 70-72mm i'll be able to run my set up as randalls 42 degree unflipped rear, 50 degree flipped front. Which sounds pretty bad ass to me. might be able to squeak a unflipped 42 in the front, but it will be close, might need 1/4" riser, but that would defeat the purpose of the flush-cuts.

Well if the new crown ridge your referring to is the one we skated me you and mitch I have seen it. Didnt realize you were limited to wheel size, the blast waves would be too big for you. Did you get the deck already???
yea i was skating it with a makeshift setup on wednesday.
had only the feet area gripped with vicious, non flipped 42 rear non flipped 50 front with lemon freerides and 1/8" riser. even with that weird ass setup going 30mph+ was no prob.
