Daaaammmnn Ian glad to see your okay buddy.
Tightened my trucks and continued skating.
Love the stoke dude. Wish I could of gotten back up and skated too. You're definately my inspiration right now. All The spills and get back up like a trooper man.
It's been tough not skating. I'm definately looking forward to getting back out and hitting some hills. I'm not going to let a little injury keep me down either.8)
What sucks though is all the naysayers I've been dealing with when I tell them how I broke my collar bone. All I hear is aren't you to old to be skateboarding. I respond, I don't skateboard, I longboard. Then I let them know, if I'm to old to do something I love I don't want to live. With any luck I've changed some peoples perspective on life.
Oh and Slabbers heading to the Houston race, good luck fellas and kick some ass.

Just got back from Houston. All I can say is the 5 garages we ran were really fast.
SLAB did much better than the Austin labor day race. Definately want to skate with the HGR guys again soon.
p.s.
I think Scotty said the final results will be posted later today on the HGR race thread.

Just got home myself. Man, what a gas! Those garages were grrrreat! I forget what the second garage was called, I'll just refer to it as Postal because it was, well, rather wicked. Thanks to Tom for sponsoring some wheels, in the name of SLAB, for prizes.
Great showing in Houston for SLAB, we hung just fine. Except fo my friend ED with the badass video cam. He's ok we'll explain later.
Now it's back to the Paladium for Where the Wild Grow....?

re: San Antonio LongBoarders - SLAB!
oh man the HGR race was pure mother f-ing fun.
I couldn't believe the amount of garages that exist in Houston, they're EVERYWHERE. I guess I never noticed when I was there cuz i wasn't skating a lot.
That was the first time I met scotty, he's cool as crap. He said carve is trying to get an online store going soon, gonna be legit.
I thought the point system/heats they decided was cool. Definitely different from eliminations, but still fun.
Met a lot of cool people, skated a lot of badass garages.
Learned a lot about technique. My confidence was definitely not a problem this time around.
I think fighting off exhaustion played a major role in people's performance as well lol.
Luke, V and myself all made it to the last race but by the time the results were in from the night I think it was like 4:30 in the morning. Brutal.
SLAB represented really well, especially considering how we've never skated those garages outside the practice runs lol.
Kelly: That second garage was called "Customs"
Priya: your foot ok dude?
peace

You got that soooooo right man! Have SLAB, will travel.
We missed you and Dixon at the HGR, maybe they would'nt have dominated had you guys been there. We also missed our own Mitch Deathfrog, he's gunning for Zac and Chubs next race.
