re: San Antonio LongBoarders - SLAB!
Monday morning, shwew I didn't think I was going to make it. I can finally get some rest now that Chris is leaving. I know I've only been skaten for a couple of years now, and I consider myself an above average skater, at least in my age bracket, but my butt is whipped from trying to keep up with the "Wild Samoan." Wild might not be the word for him, intense, energetic, involved, excited, impassioned, extraordinary, EXTREME, you get the idea. The man has left a mark on me that I hope I can pass on to many others. Thanks Chris Yandall for your impressionable visit to SA and thanks for skating with SLAB!

re: San Antonio LongBoarders - SLAB!
I think regular weekend sessions might work better than wednesdays since it's getting dark so early now. And we're not skating spec anymore (?). I vote for the rim at 8:00 on wednesday, I'd be stoaked to be home by 10.
Yes to drop through, idk when I'll have time though.
I'm really digging those lemon zigs Tom. They're much grippier than I'd thought they'd be, I really want to try orange, Ian I think they'd be sick for you.

I'd like to try some orange zigs. They'd be crap for anything but nice dry pavement, but they'd be fast as hell and they'd slide really easily after breaking 'em in.
I really dig my lime big zigs, just need to get some more time to ride 'em.

Still having flashbacks on this hill. If it was just a tad bit wider, it would be a great G/S hill. At those speeds, a tumble off to the side in the woods could be fatal.
Thanks Kelly! A fond memory still echoing echoing echoing and urging me to come back and bomb it with some full equipment like the rest of your crowd of speed demons!

You rock brother!

Flashbacks could be blamed on old age, in many cases that is. And in comparison to the average skaters age your age is practically post mordom (cause of death-complications due to frickin old age). But unlike other skaters and live people in general, at the youthful age off 55 you prove that the stoke for life is always on fire and the winds that spread the flames are blowing strong!
Mordor calls you back.
