Jake: I'd LOVE to make it on Sunday, but I'm scheduled to work.

Sorry I haven't been out much lately y'all. Work and school have been killing me this last week, and it's not gonna get better until after finals. Still trying to skate at least once/twice a week though. Sunday and Thursday nights after 8/9 are gonna be the best times for me.

Also, anyone know something good to put on pulled tendons? I pulled my Achilles tendon a while back and it's been killing me lately to the point where I can't push without it hurtin' a lot.

the best thing for pulled tendons in your fingers is to tape them up if you're gonna need them. Rest them otherwise. Tendons heal much slower than muscles. Aleve...helps the inflammation.

alright so it's been a while since we had a group of us together. I've been making a mental checklist of a bunch of spots right around my place and farther south. Luke and I are planning on meeting up sunday morning-ish and checking these spots out.
Almost all of these spots are neighborhood runs, some of them definitely need spotters, the more people that come out the more runs everyone gets.
Most of these runs will be around 30. 35 at most, no mordors or TJFF's on this side of town. All of them look fun though, and it's at least something different, eh?
A lot of these places are right down the street from where I live and I never knew about it...including a secret new ditch that looks sweeeEeeet.
If some people need rides i can put 3 people in my car. No gas money required, just some stoke. We'll go all over the SW side of town and rip it up/try not to get jumped in this one place I found.
Some runs to bomb, some to slide. Lots of tech corners at ~30. Brooms will be required on a few. Plenty of young kids in this one neighborhood ready to have their minds washed with the gnar.
Some places look like they have hills, but I haven't had the time to explore...maybe you can discover you own new run...
At the least lots of ridiculous names will be created for the deserving runs...that's always a blast.

Who's free sunday? The earlier we start the better, no 6am runs mind you, I was thinking around 9:00am we could meet up at my place and head out till late afternoon. RB sesh after that? Could be an epic day. (off of the top of my head I can actively remember at least 2 dozen runs we should try that have never been skated)...I'm in the process of making a list and PMing it out...trying to finish homework first.

What's up dudes, I'm currently sitting in the airport in Houston waiting to board my flight to Belize! Ill be out for a week getting back in the 210 next sunday am. . . Only to jump on another plane monday at 7am to Portland for the thanksgiving holiday so I'm out of the skate scene for 2 weeks, but when I get back I do wanna try and cram as much skating in as I can to get me warmed up for my trip to the 808 (hawaii) for the xmas holiday.

Yeah, I'm originally from Portland, TX. So I know all about the flatness of Corpus. Is there a pretty good scene there?

I have been here before when I was 13, and I did the blue hole then, but we might do it again this time.

I posted on the portland thread and the guys told me not to bother bringing a board because it will be wet and non skateable

Have fun on your dive trip, Matt. Other than the Caymans and Bonaire, Roatan (Westbay) is the best place to dive. (don't forget your decompression stops)

I thought their promo video was hella gay. I highly doubt their gonna be an otang killer though. especially the mangotangs..which are on their way here...
I've never ridden any LY wheel though...kelly was ridding some blue mini hawgs or something at the HGR race though I think.

the new landy thane is suppose to be pretty grippy and wear at a decent rate, i assume with the shape the zombies are they will be similar to retro freerides. of course thats just my speculation.
