less than a week away! what is everyones plans for silent sunday?

I just found out! This silent sunday is my birthday! seeing as how I have never, ever been to south mountain I think I will have to make plans to visit - and maybe someone can be my guide, because I gather its a big place. Although, all this depends on if I get enough studying done for the upcoming test on the following Wednesday ( 1 Oct).

sometimes I hate school....

I'll show you guys around, I've ridden the road quite a few times. I'll probably try to show up by 6 which means I'm gonna leave around 530. If anyone needs a ride I'd be more than happy to help you out. If you're out of the way though I may ask you for gas money.

I'm actually planning on being there by 530 so I can walk up without it being too hot.

With great sorrow, I regret to say that I can't make it this Sunday.

Just so you know, I'm looking at 4 homework assignments, a 20 page lab report, a set of 50 homeworks to grade, and a Principles of Design exam within the next week

Someone take pictures / vids of their silent sunday runs. It'll be a nice little birthday present

I'll have a D-80 but I don't really wanna bring that up the mountain...

Anyone got a video camera?

edit: The walk is long but it's not difficult or anything. There's a trail that I wanna try walking up next time. I think it's pretty short.

im down for whatever is the quickest. unfortunantly the hellcat is on the heavy side so we will see how i like carrying it.

im at least bringing a little camera

and i think i will be goin up there 5 30 or a little earlier. i was riding with some guys from the az bomb squad and i got there number and i think i am gonna meet up with them too. sounds like south mountain is gonna be a blast. im so excited!

Yeah, Josh and Brody are coming up from Tucson. I text Brody earlier and he said they might not be here until 9 but that they would try to get here earlier. He's gonna text me again when he knows.
