Question New bushings (already searched forums)

The heat definitely plays a part in bushing life, so all you other AZ riders out there: how long of a life do you usually get from your bushings? I have had my board since January this year and I ride it pretty much every week, if not every day ( especially since school is in session). I haven't changed the bushings in it, and I think I might have to, because something just doesn't feel right when I ride; I feel, less stable.

I don't really know. I am riding the stock bushings that came with my Sector 9 Bomb Hills 46" Pintail, and I dont' see any sort of lettering or info on them. I think its time to replace them, but I wanna know how long everyone else waits before changing bushings.

well if they feel like they have been used and abused i say its time to switch them out. probably should compare their size to ones that havent been used. if u see a big difference switch them.

it's prolly not the heat
i mean unless if you leave your trucks out in direct sunshine for extended periods of time i dont' think the weather is going to affect your bushings much

just generally, as you ride the bushings get broken in just like wheels
that's probably why you're bushings feel different

well, for the summer and for a good deal of the semester, I keep my longboard in my trunk of my car - there might be a special place in hell reserved for people who mistreat their longboards - so I'm gonna have to repent

so can anyone tell me how long they wait until having to change bushings?
